@baseballcrank The President right now has started a war without Congressional input, sent poorly trained federal law enforcement in the streets to make arrests without warrants, and taken equity stakes in dozens of companies. The call is coming from inside the house.
Fun fact: it was 90 years ago today that we officially became Gwinnett County Public Library! In 1935, the Lawrenceville Parent-Teacher Association helped establish a branch in City Hall. We now operate 15 branches that champion literacy, inclusion, and community.
@emilykmay Mom's car. But to be fair, she always gets the new car and I get the hand-me-down. I haven't gotten a car "for me" since well before my wedding day.
A lot of people are missing the bigger picture when it comes to this video. Yes, it is real that you have a guy with 4 kids out busting his hump just to make a living. It's not a joke, and hardly anybody will disagree. At the same time a punk who has likely never put in an honest, hard day of work goes out and pulls pranks on people to post to social media for clout and clicks. The punk probably rakes in more money a month posting bullshit brain rot to social media while the regular guy has to work long hours, rarely gets to see his kids, and is left wondering if he's going to have enough money to pay the mortgage next month. THAT is the issue. THAT is the point, and fundamentally there is something wrong in this country when you can do F-all and still get paid MORE than someone who puts in an honest day's work. In some way, this guy who crashed out on this punk is all of us, and we've reached our breaking point. I don't have all the answers and if life is tough for this guy, I hope there are better days ahead for him and his family. Being an "influencer" like this punk is, allegedly, IS NOT a real job and I commend this father of 4 for standing up for everybody who goes out there everyday, works hard, and does the right thing.
@SohelVkf It's a different game with different swing mechanics, but is your contention that a major league baseball player doesn't have elite hand-eye coordination and reaction time comparable to cricketers?
@EmptySeatsPics One of the games could have been moved to GasSouth arena just up the road. Seats 12k for basketball, probably would be fine for both teams.
Or bump Hawks/Cavs to Friday.
Or move Game 6 to Friday, and Game 7 to Sunday and pull GSW/LAC to Saturday.
@jemelehill I've thought about this for 5 minutes and already have workable solutions.
1) Bump Hawks/Cavs to Friday. No arena conflict, and both teams have short flights to their Saturday games
2) Move Hawks/Cavs to GasSouth. 12k should be enough to accomodate October NBA ball
@thejundz@espn@ramonashelburne Or go up to Gas South. No arena conflicts there either, and it still seats 12k for basketball. Could probably fill the stands, though some suite owners would be mad.
@readDanwrite Why can't the Hawks/Cavs play on Friday? I know they both have games Saturday but Milwaukee (Cavs) and New Orleans (Hawks) are short flights from Atlanta and I don't see any other arena conflicts.
Or move the Hawks to GasSouth for a day. Suburbianites would probably love it.
