If you believe witchcraft is a real power that can harm you, you have already made it part of your world. You experience the meanings you give things.
Belief comes first. Only then does any experience matter. The meaning you assign sets the energy, and the physical world reflects that energy back to you.
This is why many people help create the very situation they claim to protect themselves from. They say, βNo weapon formed against me shall prosper.β
Yet the words still assume that weapons exist, that they can be aimed at you, that forces are trying to harm you, and that you need protection.
The protection may be called prayer, the blood of Jesus, scripture, cleansing or deliverance. The name does not matter. The belief underneath sets the energy.
If you truly know that nothing outside you has power over your state of being, there is nothing to protect yourself from. You do not need to defeat witchcraft. You simply stop defining yourself as someone it can affect.
Change the definition, change the energy.
Change the energy, change the reality.
What you send out is what returns.
Arthur, notice what just happened.
I asked you a direct biblical question. Again, you did not answer it. Instead, you replaced an answer with four labels: hypocritical, lying, biased and anti christian.
Labels do not answer questions.
1. Hypocritical.
About what, specifically?
Hypocrisy requires a contradiction between the standard I apply to you and the standard I apply to myself. So identify it.
I AM not claiming the bible is infallible. I AM not claiming that being christian automatically gives me superior understanding of it. And I AM not claiming a one on one relationship with god while avoiding a direct question about what I supposedly know.
So what exactly is my hypocrisy?
2. Lying.
What exact statement have I knowingly presented as false?
Name it.
If I have stated something factually incorrect, show me the text and correct it. An error can be demonstrated. A lie requires knowingly presenting something false as true.
So what exactly is the lie?
3. Biased.
Bias is not demonstrated by the fact that I asked a question you do not wish to answer.
If I have selectively ignored a verse, removed context or misrepresented the text, show me where.
Otherwise, calling the question biased still does not answer it.
4. Anti christian.
Examining christianity is not the same thing as being against christians.
The being is not the belief system.
You are completely free to remain christian, that's your current path. I require nothing from you. I AM examining claims being presented as truth and asking whether the text actually supports them.
Frankly, you don't have to respind to any of my questions, I already know the answers.
That verse is not a warning against sex.
Proverbs 5:15 to 23 uses water, wells, springs, and fountains as metaphors for sexual intimacy and faithfulness. The surrounding passage tells the man to rejoice in the wife of his youth and to remain satisfied with her rather than seeking intimacy elsewhere.
So when it asks why the springs should be dispersed abroad or the streams of water spilled into the streets, the imagery concerns directing sexual intimacy outside the relationship.
The passage is not saying, βSex is dangerous.β
Within its own framework, it is saying, βDo not scatter your sexual intimacy indiscriminately. Share it within the relationship you have chosen.β
So the more revealing question is this:
Why place the definition βGodβs Warning For Sexβ over a passage that is actually discussing sexual fidelity?
And notice something else.
The passage itself is wisdom literature presented as instruction. It is not god speaking in the first person and declaring, βThis is my warning about sex.β
Once again, there is a difference between what the text actually says and the definition someone places on top of the text.
Read what is there.
Then notice what was added. π
Interpretations... one of the reasons why the body of Christ is divided.
The three fear-based Abrahamic religions developed into structures substantially rooted in fear, and many of their doctrines rest upon layers of misinterpretation, misinformation, and misunderstanding that have accumulated over generations.
When definitions are inherited rather than examined, interpretations can gradually become beliefs, beliefs can become doctrines, and doctrines can eventually be presented as absolute truth.
The mechanism is simple.
Repeat an interpretation long enough, and people may forget that it was ever an interpretation.
Oh, Light of the World, has the Holy Spirit grown tired and weary?
Please provide the verse where the god of the bible declares, in his own words, that the bible is his Word.
Not where a human author refers to scripture as inspired. Not where "the word of God" refers to a spoken message, prophecy or proclamation. I AM asking specifically where god identifies the collection now called the bible and declares, "This book is my Word."
If no such verse exists, then on what basis is that claim presented as though god himself made it?
And that raises an interesting question.
The bible repeatedly warns about false prophets and about people claiming to speak for god when god did not send them or give them those words. See Deuteronomy 18:20, Jeremiah 23:16 to 32 and Ezekiel 13:6 to 9.
So if someone attributes a claim to god that god is never recorded as making, perhaps the question is not whether the bible warns about false prophets.
Perhaps the question is: who exactly was it warning about?
@Arthursphere That's not your luggage to carry. So I will ask one more time, since you claim that being a christian means you understand the bible.
Is the connection of Jesus to David through Mary or Joseph?
Arthur, you are still attempting to determine my intention from the subject I choose to examine.
The fact that I question christianity more often does not logically mean I AM against christianity. It means christianity is the belief system most directly represented in my own experience. I was a born again christian for 31 years. I know its language, definitions, claims and assumptions from the inside.
So naturally, it provides more material for examination.
I do not need to divide my questions equally among every religion on Earth in order for my examination to be valid. That would be an artificial requirement you are placing upon the conversation.
If a Muslim presents a claim that interests me, I AM free to examine it. If a christian presents a claim that interests me, I AM free to examine that. And if I examine christianity 100 times and another belief system not at all, that still does not transform examination into opposition.
The subject being examined is not the same thing as the intention of the examiner.
And since I know you personally, why would I discuss belief systems you are not presenting when I can simply examine the definitions you are actually using?
That is where the reflection is.
You are free to remain christian. I have no requirement that you remember what I remember, know what I know, or define reality as I do. Your path is yours.
I simply find questions useful because questions can expose definitions that have been accepted without examination. And sometimes, curiosity becomes the permission slip through which remembering begins.
If that happens, pretty cool.
If it does not, that is equally valid.
In existence, there are no christians, hindus, muslims, or jews, but simply people who believe that they are.
@Stonersarc@jbulldogs4@ErinWhite356324 Oh, fundamentally, we never truly learn anything, we simply remember. Yet I know exactly what you mean.
"So buckle your seat belt, Stones, because Kansas is going bye-bye.β
(I have always wanted to say that... ππ )
Exciting, isn't it? π
Knowledge is infinite, and all knowledge is freely available within EXISTENCE, for nothing in EXISTENCE is ever truly lost, destroyed or hidden.
Information may move beyond the range of your present awareness, but it does not cease to exist.
When your state of being becomes vibrationally compatible with the information, you gain access to it.
You do not create the knowledge. You tune to the frequency where it is already available.
I find sparking remembrance in others, pretty cool.
Indeed. Many who identify strongly with religion never dare to question the very definitions upon which their belief systems are built, not realising that curiosity itself can become the permission slip that begins the process of awakening.
I know Arthur personally. I was a born again christian for 31 years before remembering who I AM. So I understand the framework from within it, not merely from observing it from the outside.
And yet, within existence, nothing is ever lost and nothing is ever wasted. Even self deception has its purpose. Even choosing not to remember is part of the process of eventually remembering. Forgetfulness provides the contrast through which awakening can recognise itself.
Everything works for us because there is ultimately nothing outside of us. The One is the All, and the All are The One. Every experience, every belief, every question, every period of forgetting and every moment of remembering becomes part of the exploration through which EXISTENCE experiences ITSELF. ξ¨0ξ¨
And this is the beautiful paradox.
EXISTENCE would not be EXISTENCE if Arthur did not exist.
Because existence cannot contain something unnecessary to existence. If Arthur exists, then his existence itself demonstrates that his particular expression of All That Is has a place within the whole.
So Arthur does not need to awaken according to my timing, accept my definitions, or remember what I remember.
He simply needs to be Arthur. And he is being Arthur with precision. π
The remembering will unfold according to the path he chooses, in the reality that reflects the state of being he chooses to embody.
And that too is EXISTENCE experiencing ITSELF
Existence is Marvellous. .
So no, questioning christianity does not invalidate christians, any more than questioning atheism invalidates atheists.
The being is not the belief system.
The belief system is simply a collection of definitions through which the being chooses to interpret reality.
Change the definitions and the experience changes.
The being remains.
So if christianity appears frequently in my discussions, that does not automatically mean I AM against it. It means christianity is one of the belief systems being examined.
And perhaps the more interesting reflection is this:
If questioning a belief system is experienced as an attack on the person holding it, then the question is no longer what I AM against.
The question becomes:
Why has the person incorporated the belief so deeply into the definition of "who I AM" that examining the belief feels like examining the being?
Because once the belief becomes identity, questioning the belief can feel like a threat to existence itself.
And that reaction tells us far more about the definition being protected than it tells us about the person asking the question.
The being does not need protection from examination.
Only a definition that fears examination does.
@yurielijah5198@jbulldogs4 So did you. You are the Word of God in motion.
We have always existed, without a beginning and without an end. Existence is Marvellous.
True. Genesis was not the beginning, Eden was not a garden and Jehovah is not god but a blue-skinned being of flesh and blood who has parents, a sister and an older half brother. I know a time before the royal lineage in which Jehovah was born into even began. His name is not even Jehovah.
The 10 Expressions of Existence were never βcommandmentsβ; they were reflections, translations of energetic principles that mirrored the state of consciousness of the beings receiving them. Not rules to obey, but guidance to align with natural law.
What you now call the β10 Commandmentsβ is not even the original transmission; it is a filtered, reinterpreted version, a version altered by fear-based structures, control systems, and the needs of the time to impose authority, not inspire remembrance.
The original 10 were vibrational mirrors; reminders of harmony, integrity, and alignment with Source. Not dictates from above, but resonances within, permission slips encoded in metaphor, meant to spark inner knowing.
You were never meant to follow them blindly, you were meant to recognise yourself through them.
The biblical Jesus presented in the bible has very little resemblance to the historical Yeshua who walked the earth.
I was never a sinner. I have never sinned. I AM not a christian. I AM a Christ.
@ErinWhite356324@jbulldogs4 How can they when he never rises from it? It now functions more like a wheelchair.
Do you think we have buttocks in Spirit that require resting? Not even an atom rests.
What happens after they steal the throne? What is their end game?
Yes, I AM saying that.
Now let me ask you this. In your belief system, are demons, angels and evil spirits physical beings?
If your answer is no, then you already define them as non-physical beings existing within what you call the spiritual realm.
Khumbudzo, spiritual does not mean good, holy, loving or positively aligned. Spiritual describes the nature or level of existence. Positive and negative describe polarity of expression.
What are they teaching at church? A 2000 years old text book?π€
So saying something is spiritual is not the same as saying I prefer, support or align with its expression.
Nothing exists outside All That Is. If something exists at all, it exists within consciousness. The polarity you assign to it does not somehow place it outside Creation.
This is not for you...
