An open Twitch community for streamers to make friends, get help, and grow! NOT a retweet account. Run by @troubletruck. Not an official Twitch account
As a general update: Life got busy with a new job for me personally, so I’ve decided to forego personal streaming to devote time to maintaining this community. Y’all are awesome, and I want to keep this group supportive and useful 💜
Tip: Think about the placement and wording of your donation link in your about section. When the first thing people see in your about is “GIVE ME MONEY HERE”, it gives off a bad vibe.
Just wanted to say great job everyone on the charity streaming this weekend! Y'all are all awesome :) There's still time to get involved if you're interested in streaming and raising money for Mental Health America! Details here https://t.co/ijyODiIch7 --runs through Thurs.
Reminder: Please dont using streaming communities as your own personal Tinder. Just like..
1. Don’t do it.
2. If you’re going to do it anyway learn to read a conversation, and if they don’t seem interested or say no or rebuff you in any way STOP PESTERING THEM.
Take breaks and don’t burn yourself out!
This applies to me as well, going to hop off social media for a bit. In the mean time, here’s a picture of my dog looking super grumpy because we took the bed sheets off to clean them. See y’all soon 💜
Spent my weekend syncing lights to my health bar in PUBG- what are some cool projects or things that you’ve done outside your stream itself to make your stream cooler? Share share share!
My "you haven't shilled your Discord server lately" sense is tingling:
Hey! Our Discord server is cool. It's a growing group of 600+ streamers everywhere, on all platforms. Make friends. Learn cool stuff. Get a +10 buff to beauty and charisma.

This isn’t just postulating, it’s from personal experience. Being unemployed with an arts degree after giving your content creation dream a full time shot before you are already established is very much not an ideal situation.
Advice to anyone who is thinking of streaming fulltime—- Don’t until you have a backup plan in place, some sort of employable skill. Have enough savings to last several months. And MOST IMPORTANT- don’t jump to fulltime until you have a consistent steady income from streaming.
Technical Tip: The option to select a viewer resolution is only available for partners or select streamers. Having a beautiful stream is meaningless if half your audience doesn’t have the internet speed to watch it. 720p | 30fps | 2500 bitrate-your mobile viewers will thank you.
