THE BELIEVER AND BIBLICAL POSTS ON SOCIAL MEDIA

The aim of this post is not to say EVERYTHING about biblical/christian posts and posting on social media. It's just a brief address.

When you see a post (article, write-up, quote, illustration, exegesis etc) on social media, before you press the like button, READ it.

Before you comment in agreement or appraisal, UNDERSTAND it.

Before you share or repost, DIGEST it well. Or ask yourself "Is this what I believe?"

Pay attention to the words, bible references, the intent of the writer and so on. Be sure you get the point of the post.

And before you ask questions or contend against the post publicly, READ, UNDERSTAND, GET THE POST CLEAR. (Do all as stated earlier)

In addition, where necessary, check the Bible, for the bible texts used, to understand the texts within their contexts and why they were used where/the way they were used.

It's unhealthy to be careless with words as a believer, and have assumed knowledge.

And if these are too much for you to do, you're not under compulsion to read, like, comment, share or ask questions on any of such posts.

Stay healthy, stay honest, stay sane, even on social media.
