@patspulpit I'm worried about this new center-guard combo going up against the strength of SEA's pass rush in Leonard Williams and Byron Murphy - think SEA will have the edge there. But Maye was the best off-script scrambler in the NFL last year...
@Legacyofembiid Agree - this game will look very different from SB - Price isn't ready to go up against NE D that was 6th in rush yds allowed, and SEA secondary looks vulnerable. Expect low-scoring, defensive battle decided by a FG.
@YouBetterYouBet@davehelman_@TheKostos Agree - this game will look very different from SB - Price isn't ready to go up against NE D that was 6th in rush yds allowed, and SEA secondary looks vulnerable. Expect low-scoring, defensive battle decided by a FG.
@greggrosenthal Intriguing questions - I agree that SEA secondary looks vulnerable, but Maye probably won't have much time to throw downfield. Darnold will have his own issues as Price is no replacement for Walker/Charbonnet. Expect low-scoring defensive battle decided by a FG.

@Gambler77Goated Agree - this game will look very different from SB - Price isn't ready to go up against NE D that was 6th in rush yds allowed, and SEA secondary looks vulnerable. Expect low-scoring, defensive battle decided by a FG.
@CMNDERS That was an anomaly last year - Darnold led the NFL in turnovers and was the worst QB under pressure - with no Walker/Charbonnet, play-action will be ineffective > more pressure on Darnold.
@SRTerrio_ I'm going Under - there are questions on both offenses so think defenses will decide the game. Check out my full analysis here: https://t.co/HSQCaLX5mc
@Jack_Aylmer@Musket_Fire Yes and the OLBs need to set the edge to prevent Price from running effectively on the outside. With Spillane and Landry both out, need Ponder and Jones to step up!
@bostonherald@DougKyed Good points - and #4 can Price run outside like Walker? If not, play-action becomes ineffective and more pressure on Darnold, who was the worst QB under pressure in the NFL last year.
@Cerrone_Battle Good points - people are underestimating impact of no Walker/Charbonnet + injuries/loss of Woolen/Bryant in secondary. If Maye and Brown/Doubs can find some timing, Pats could win.
@WEEI@richkented@ken_laird@Teddyjradio@heyrichhey@weeisports Tough to call winner, but this game will look very different from SB - Price isn't ready to go up against NE D that was 6th in rush yds allowed, and SEA secondary looks vulnerable. Expect low-scoring, defensive battle decided by a FG.
@JoeLFGPatsPod Agree with your most of your points, but not with the score - I think the defenses and kickers will decide the game. Check out my full analysis here: https://t.co/HSQCaLX5mc
Interesting take, but AJ Brown is still learning a new system so timing could be off in week 1. Agree on SEA offense - Price averaged only 9 carries/game LY in college so he's probably not ready to take on NE D that was 6th in rush yds allowed and held playoff opponents to 3.1 YPC. Tough to call game bc rivalry + travel to Australia, but Niners' questionable pass rush + weak secondary + return of Fred Warner means Rams will likely pass more. PICK: Matthew Stafford Over 265.5 pass yds. Full analysis here: https://t.co/gpbsyGTUR2
@DrakeFantasy Agreed. Itβs week 1, a grudge rematch for NE, and there are questions on both offenses. I think the defenses will dominate and decide the game. Predicting a total score in the high 30s
@AlbertBreer@Seahawks Yes but don't forget that Sam Darnold led the NFL in turnovers last year (20) - he was the worst QB under pressure, and without a strong running game + play-action, he will be under pressure against NE. Full analysis: https://t.co/HSQCaLX5mc
@NFL_Convo Too close to call but I agree it won't be the same as SB - people underestimating impact of no Walker/Charbonnet and secondary looks vulnerable for the first time in a long time.
