आंकड़ों और घोषणाओं की चमक-दमक में राजनगर एक्सटेंशन की असली हालत दब जाती है। जनता आज भी वही पुरानी समस्याओं से जूझ रही है, जिनके समाधान का वादा आठ साल पहले किया गया था: नई सड़कें नहीं बनीं, ट्रैफिक सुधार नाममात्र के। सिर्फ कागजी प्रगति दिखाई जाती है, जबकि जमीनी हकीकत वही की वही—फिर भी घोषणाओं का सिलसिला थमने का नाम नहीं लेता।
समय-समय पर अखबारों में बड़ी-बड़ी हेडलाइंस बनकर @gdagzb ने गाजियाबाद के राजनगर एक्सटेंशन में विकास की हजारों घोषणाएं की हैं। 2017 से 18 सितंबर 2025 तक ऑनलाइन सर्च करें तो राजनगर एक्सटेंशन की सड़कों के विकास और ट्रैफिक सुधार पर हजारों खबरें मिलेंगी। लेकिन सच्चाई यह है कि पिछले 8 वर्षों में जमीनी स्तर पर एक इंच काम नहीं हुआ। चाहे एक्सटेंशन की मुख्य सड़क हो या अंदरूनी गलियां, पिछले 8 वर्षों में एक बार भी नहीं बनीं। हां, जब प्रदेश के माननीय मुख्यमंत्री जी आते हैं तो रातोंरात एक दिन के लिए चमकाया जरूर जाता है, जो उनके जाने तक ही रहता है। बेतरतीब विकास और तेजी से बढ़ती आबादी के बीच ट्रैफिक जाम, जलभराव, फुटपाथ पर अतिक्रमण और अधूरी सड़कें लोगों की रोजमर्रा की जिंदगी को नर्क बना चुकी हैं।

राजनगर एक्सटेंशन में लगातार ट्रैफिक जाम की समस्या को हल करने के लिए केवल दिखावटी उपाय जैसे नए यू-टर्न या अस्थायी इंतजाम पर्याप्त नहीं हैं। इसके लिए ठोस और दीर्घकालिक योजना की जरूरत है ताकि यातायात सुचारू हो और सुरक्षा बढ़े।

केवल लेन बढ़ाने की औपचारिकता के बजाय, सड़क की पूरी चौड़ाई का उपयोग सुनिश्चित करने के लिए सभी बाधाएं जैसे अतिक्रमण, बिजली के खंभे और पोल तुरंत हटाए जाएं।

मुख्य सड़क और उसके किनारों से सभी अतिक्रमण पूरी तरह हटाए जाएं ताकि वाहनों और पैदल यात्रियों को खुला रास्ता मिले, जिससे अव्यवस्था कम हो।

बड़े नाले को ढककर उच्च गुणवत्ता वाला फुटपाथ बनाया जाए। इससे पैदल चलने वालों की सुरक्षा बढ़ेगी और सड़कों पर अनावश्यक भीड़ कम होगी।

सभी लेफ्ट टर्न कट्स पर सड़क को इस तरह डिज़ाइन किया जाए कि वाहन बिना मुख्य ट्रैफिक को बाधित किए फ्री लेफ्ट टर्न ले सकें। इसके लिए इन स्थानों पर सड़क को चौड़ा किया जाए।

केडीपी गोलचक्कर और अजनार कट जैसे अव्यवस्थित क्रॉसिंग्स को तत्काल बंद किया जाए ताकि बेतरतीब आवागमन और ट्रैफिक जाम की समस्या खत्म हो।

@gdagzb और @Gzbtrafficpol से आग्रह करते हैं कि इन उपायों को बेहतर प्लानिंग के साथ तत्काल और प्रभावी ढंग से लागू किया जाए ताकि राजनगर एक्सटेंशन में ट्रैफिक की समस्या का स्थायी समाधान हो सके।
