Let's just be friends. Let's merely intertwine our lives, serving as support and fellow celebrant through the ups and downs of an entire human lifetime. Only that.
I am still working through a lot of things when it comes to my writing; the process, the "value" of it, the useless destructive perfectionism, etc.

You can’t continually traumatize people w/ the same shit, be made aware it’s traumatizing, be told the effects of your behavior on another persons mental& physical health, then keep doing the same exact shit to traumatize them and say you love them. No. You’re just comfortable.

It's been a traumatizing and deeply depressing past month. Things got real bad. I spent weeks stuck in a place of extreme fear, recognizing that something needed to change. Old patterns kept me safe in the past but they are no longer able to serve me now.
And tonight, I feel like a different person. I'm able to connect with this kind of love. I'm able to see myself and my place in this world more clearly.
I'm feeling genuine.
