The New England Patriots offense can take a jump to the next level if RB TreVeyon Henderson can become more of a pass catching threat. #NEPats
OC Josh McDaniels can expose defenses with pass catching RBs. Hendo could be the most explosive he’s ever had.
Rookie spotlight: OT Dametrious Crownover (sixth round, No. 196) spent the majority of spring practices as the third-unit right tackle.
Head coach Mike Vrabel said he had studied Crownover along with his other college teammates because, “Texas A&M had so many draft-worthy players.”
VP of Player Personnel Ryan Cowden on Crownover (6-7, 319): “Massive individual. Great length. Some pretty natural pass pro ability. Ideally, with his size, he can play both tackle positions.”
Coming out of spring, Crownover looks to be primarily competing with veteran James Hudson III, 2025 seventh-round pick Marcus Bryant and international exemption Lorenz Metz for a spot on the 53-man roster as the No. 4-5 OT.
Off the field, he and wife Makenzie welcomed their son - Miekah Kane - on May 15.
The Bruins acquired C Ivan Ivan from the Avalanche in exchange for RW Fabian Lysell.
Ivan totaled 11 goals and 15 assists for 26 points across 66 AHL games last season. Has recorded 5 goals and 4 assists for 9 points through 49 career NHL games.
The New England Patriots are very fortunate to have Drake Maye as their franchise QB. #NEPats
Not only can Maye make every throw but he is also dynamic with his legs. He is a real threat to scramble for big yardage which puts pressure on a defense.
