Some folks are mad at me for using a Rarebreed device in my recent video. Objectivity means evaluating on the merits, not the politics.
However, to those folks I will ask:
where are your videos of you shooting unregistered machineguns? Where are your videos that confirm that you received or shipped those across state lines?

My opinion is FRTs (category) are not machineguns. However, the law is a Barbie doll: its dimensions are set but its joints are articulated and can be bent to change stance and fit around things. The DOJ has told us what it thinks of FRTs: “some of them are machineguns” (wrong, with a monopoly on violence)

I want to cover FRTs. I think the technology is really important when it comes to invalidating the NFA. However, I have to do so legally because I am held to a different standard. (See Matt Hoover, see Dugan Ashley) Perhaps I am just paranoid, but I think content creators promoting other brands are making a critical error.

Director Cekada said in his address to Congress on FRTs that they are open to evaluating designs to determine if they are covered under the settlement (I did a video on this) Any manufacturer that can produce documentation that certifies their device is included under the settlement with DOJ is OK in my book. They can reach out and provide this documentation to my project manager and we can go from there. Until then I am operating under the assumption that the ATF will act like the ATF eventually and is going to Ruby Ridge someone. I have a dog. I have a wife that holds babies. My church is flammable. Pass.
