Be mad about it if you want but it's true. They're loud, they call, they email, complain, bitch, moan, and whine until their elected officials hear them.

It's why they've been in charge for so long. If you want that wind to blow the other way you gotta participate.

Go to the link in the replies, enter your address, and see who your reps are. (Be honest, you probably don't know. I didn't either for a long time.)

Next week I will update this thread with a copy paste statement you can use to reach out to them. It'll take 5 minutes of your time.

If you can't spend 5 minutes to tell your reps "hey, I care about this issue. What are you doing about it" then you can shut up about being hard to kill or whatever else bullshit you spout because you're actively putting yourself in the situation.

Many of you have supported me in this fight, and to you I want to say I am forever grateful for you.

I realize that this is not the cool or popular way to gain a following in the #2a world, in fact, it’s quite the opposite. I have had many people advise me to rethink being involved in litigation, that the ‘optics’ of it isn’t ideal if I want to establish relationships with manufacturers or companies in the industry, that it will hurt my reputation.

This is not about popularity or money, or making a good impression, this is about being a woman of my integrity, about standing for something that actually makes a difference in the lives of the people, it’s about actually doing something worthwhile in my life that makes the world a safer place for my family, it’s about being the voice of those who cannot speak.

I am fed up with the apathy that plagues this industry- those who are supposed to represent freedom only stand for capitalism & compromise. At the end of the day, I have to answer to me & the Lord on how I lived my life, and I’m not here to play small or down play my voice or my worth for anyone.

Thank you to @RMGOColorado for having the courage to step up and thank you to @MSLF for having my back. I am not a perfect cookie cutter human being, but that is the point. I am a woman, a chicana, a Colorado native, a sister, a nina, a daughter, a friend. I am this community and my voice reflects my people.

Thank you to @TripleJArmoryCO @_modern_defense and @dragonmansco for being pinnacle supporters in this case. We continue on to the 10th circuit court of appeals. I truly am honored to be a part of this team.
