Hello, we’re ’The War Chaplain’, a group dedicated to representing the life of Royal Army Chaplains in the Second World War through living history and their own stories.
We’ll be taking our display to Second World War, 1940s and Armed Forces Fairs to tell the Padres’ stories.
Photos from today at the March Armed Forces Fair. Nice to tell the story of the @ArmyChaplaincy in WW2 and hear from more recent veterans about their memories of chaplains during their service.
Hi everyone, just popping up to say sorry for the radio silence of late, but we will be appearing all day tomorrow at the March Armed Forces Fair.
If you’re in the Cambridgeshire area, please do come along.

I don’t post very often but this is well worth it. A top notch tribute. I have never been a huge Sabbath fan but the metal music I listen to wouldn’t exist without their trailblazing ways, that’s for sure!
At today’s General Assembly Army, Navy and RAF chaplains came together for the Address to Chaplains to HM Forces.
Thanks were given for the their work and the support they give to service personnel, their families and the wider military community. 🙏

Following Germany's surrender on 8 May 1945, the British Army held thanksgiving services across NW Europe & Italy. The Royal Army Chaplains’ Museum has original service booklets, including one from the 21st Army Group. These booklets are treasured memorabilia from WWII #VE80
