I used to write 400-word prompts begging AI not to sound like AI.

Still sounded like AI.

Then I stumbled on a 29-word fix that changed everything:

"Read my anti-AI writing style file first. It contains every known pattern of AI writing I want to avoid. Apply these as rules to everything you write for me."

That's the whole prompt.

But here's the setup nobody tells you:
Step 1. Go to Wikipedia
Step 2. Search "Signs of AI writing"
Step 3. Copy the entire page
Step 4. Paste into a Google Doc. Don't touch it.
Step 5. Name it "anti-ai-writing"
Step 6. Download my .md files. Ready to upload.
Step 7. That file is now your secret weapon

Here's why your current prompts are failing:

"Don't use jargon."

"Don't sound like an AI."

"Don't sound robotic."

"Be conversational."

You've written some version of this.

I know because I did too, for months.

The model reads it, nods, and still writes like a LinkedIn intern from 2019.

Why? You're listing 14 "don'ts." It forgets half by sentence three.

The fix is counterintuitive.

Stop telling the AI what to avoid.

Give it a file that shows what to avoid.

The model reads 1,168 lines of bad patterns, internalizes them, and writes clean.

400-word prompt → still robotic.

29 words + 1 file → people ask if you hired a ghostwriter

If you search your name on Google and see your phone number, address, old photos, or other personal details on sketchy sites, those are data brokers selling your life to anyone who pays. Stop it now. Opt out manually like this:

1. Search your name (and variations like maiden name or nicknames) plus city/state on major people-search sites to find where your info appears.

2. Use free guides for help: Check JustDeleteMe (https://t.co/3TKOjkvPeC) for direct links and step-by-step instructions on how to opt out from dozens of sites quickly.

3. On each site, look for the "opt-out," "remove my info," "privacy," or "do not sell my data" link; usually in the footer, privacy policy page, or a dedicated removal section.

4. Submit the removal request: Provide your details for verification (often email confirmation or a simple form). Some require a quick CAPTCHA or proof you're the person listed.

5. Repeat for the top sites. Start with these common ones that show up often and have straightforward opt-outs:
- Spokeo
- Whitepages
- Intelius
- BeenVerified
- PeopleFinders

(These five are high-priority because they aggregate and sell tons of personal data worldwide, including in places like Nigeria via global databases.)

6. Set Google Alerts for your name, phone number, or email to catch if your info reappears. Check back every few months and repeat removals as needed.

Do this yearly at minimum. Every piece of info removed means less risk of stalking, scams, identity theft, or harassment.

Less online exposure equals more real-life peace. Take back control today. Stay protected.
