Last night, the much-anticipated and widely publicised debate featuring Tommy Robinson took place at the Oxford Union.
The Free Speech Union is disappointed to hear that the chamber was left half empty after more than 500 protesters blocked Union members from entering.
Several pubs and shops also took the precaution of boarding up their windows or announcing early closures for fear of potential unrest.
While Tommy Robinson is known for his controversial views, preventing opportunities to debate and challenge ideas is not the way forward.
Chants of "send them back" rings around the European Parliament today as MEPs voted overwhelmingly for tougher immigration policies, paving way for "deportation hubs" to remove en masse.
Never thought I’d ever see the day the EU parliament chanted “Send them back”.
Europe has reached a clear turning point on migration. Public frustration with illegal immigration and failed deportations has now translated into decisive political action.
The fact we've seen more outrage from the left and coverage from legacy media about me having a debate at the Oxford Union, than we did about the rape gang inquiry, speaks volumes.
Look at the state of this🤦🏼♀️
Screeching, aggressive & mostly masked activists, literally closing down a street to stop people attending a debate. They think they have the right to dictate what people can & can not listen to….Yet they think other people are the ‘facists’.
The debate was whether “the West is right to be suspicious of Islam”?
The local paper describes @TRobinsonNewEra who was speaking at the debate as a “right-wing agitator” and an “ultra-nationalist”. The same outlet merely describes these aggressive activists - preventing people attending & clashing with police etc - as simply “protestors” who were “mostly peaceful”.

Absolute 🤡🌍
I look forward to watching this debate when it becomes available. It will be fascinating.

IF YOU HAVE A VOTE IN MAKERFIELD TODAY:
Andy Burnham CANNOT VOTE in this by-election because he is not a local.
He was part of the grooming gang cover up.
He wants to rejoin the European Union.
He “welcomes” illegal migrants to the area.
He does not know what a woman is.
He is Starmer in jeans.
Please appreciate how important this election is.
Please make the effort to vote ROB KENYON of REFORM UK.
The fate of a grateful nation is in your hands 🙏 🇬🇧
Today in Parliament, I hosted a roundtable discussion on Sharia Law.
Sharia Law has no place in this country and will be banned by a future Reform Government.
Under Sharia Law, women are treated as second-class citizens, and by allowing Sharia courts to exist, the state is effectively sponsoring the abuse of women.
We will not tolerate it, and we will not allow a parallel legal system to operate in this country.
There's been debates at the Oxford Union for over 200 years.
Before Queen Victoria even took to the throne.
The exchanging of ideas is key to growing society.
This is it today.
Far left degenerates blocking anyone wanting to learn or share ideas.
As UK legacy media ignore the rape gang inquiry, @RepBrandonGill highlighted it on Fox News in USA:
"These were large groups of, again, primarily Muslim immigrants who came into Britain, who were engaged in the mass rape of working class British people, and it was covered up"
This election is on a knife edge and every vote will matter.
I understand the pressures facing local families in Makerfield... because my family faces them too.
Vote Reform UK today. 🇬🇧
Labour candidate for Makerfield @AndyBurnhamGM aligns himself with a Muslim group (MEND) who have links to Islamic extremists.
A vote for Andy Burnham is a vote for Islamic extremists.
