Just a heads up - I’m never on my personal account. If you want to follow my thoughts, follow @thechurchsplit. That’s where I’m active.
Thanks friends! See you over there.
@edlars53 @HisOtherSheep @thechurchsplit@rcsprouljr Psalm 71:5-6
Psalm 58:10-11
Sort of disproves your whole point. Augustinian original sin is just not in scripture.

@BrianBode9 @NCravatt@BrianEdwards__ Every time…
Us: points are evidence
Them: deny and ghost
Sad since we used to have such a mutually respectful relationship. 😆
@BrianBode9 @NCravatt@BrianEdwards__ “Dropped it months ago”
After harassing any tweet from our main account for months on end and accusing us of loving the drama 😂
@NCravatt @BrianBode9 @BrianEdwards__ In addition, you even texted me upset that I said something negative about Calvinism calling it your own belief system. You told me via text you were Calvinist. You recommend Sproul, why not just own it?
And networks serve particular missions. Would you allow KJVO on yours?
@NCravatt @BrianBode9 @BrianEdwards__ Also, us saying what you did was wrong isn’t us being “victims”. This is more empty accusatory drivel.
And yes, the network isn’t a dictatorship. Others voted we keep it a group that’s evangelical, but not mainstream Protestant. Calvinist is literally •the• OG Protestant. Lol
@NCravatt @BrianBode9 @BrianEdwards__ “When we were no longer useful to you, we were dead to you.”
What? You were never useful for us, that wasn’t even close to our motivation.
Remember, we didn’t want to separate from you. This shows quite the opposite of this accusation…
@NCravatt @BrianBode9 @BrianEdwards__ Literally a deacon, one of the best men I know at that church and a good friend, is a Calvinist.
It seems you really don’t understand we believe in unity in diversity, mental toughness, but having a united particular mission in a network doesn’t negate these truths. .
@NCravatt No. I just deny the marrow Calvinistic, almost IFB like, wooden interpretation.
But I appreciate your James White style rhetoric while not acknowledging the contention.
@NCravatt As you can see, the issue is you’re presuming a singular definition and not multiple facets of the text. So we can stop with the grand standing of “you deny the Bible” nonsense.
@NCravatt Forlines and others have even pointed out that such language more means “those who were leaning toward” or “those who chose”. Becuase the elect are those who choose to be in the covenant. Not those who are arbitrarily chosen. Hence the pre-first century literature on the “elect”
@NCravatt Jewish 1st century context ordination would mean to “bless” or “appoint”. But Acts 2:23 makes clear it’s due to foreknowledge (which is contingent) which is also consistent with Rom. 8:28-29. That which is known is predestined. Knowledge =\= causation.
