@NormanBrennan A March 2025 BBC article cited a coat of £41k per year per migrant housed and looked after. That is another £6.4m a year potentially for the UK taxpayer
@BBCWorld Next, do an article that tally's deaths from Islamic terror attacks and how apparent "islamaphobia" has increased on the same timeline. Start from 9/11.
@BBCNews "Collides"... doesn't seem like a big deal but you know exactly why it's preposterous. If this was an all female pride painted company, you would post non stop praise.
@BBCWorld Every country should leave the EU immediately. Agree their own trade deals, set laws that follow population values, control theor own regulations and operate independently. Problems will occur but if they want to succeed, they will iron them out.
@UKLabour Socialist vote grabbing beggars. Nothing is free, it comes from taxes. Most growth comes from domestic spending. Severely lower taxes at source, less PAYE deduction by 100s a month and this will spike consumer spending a tax receipts. Stop giving away "free" money.
@BBCWorld The EU are responsible for this mess. I hope people wake up soon and realise that people didn't vote to allow people in. The economy doesn't benifit from illegal immigration or fast tracked citizenship to get figures lower. Fix the west's economy
@BBCNews Is anyone going to condemn Ukraine or just continue to fund the fire without forcing them to come to the negotiation table with a realistic outcome. Seems like we are cornering an angry bear, and I hope it doesn't panic and snap. Tacticle nukes inbound.
@washingtonpost Love him or hate him. He knows what he wants and he works towards it. It's a nice change in politics to have someone who actually seems to care about the outcomes. What's wrong with wanting to project strength on the world stage, even if its over the top.
@BBCNews This is not news. They have spoken publicly about this. It was a once in a life time promotional event. Never intended for a commercial success and anyone with an ounce of commercial knowledge knows this. Stop throwing negative stories to put down people on the political right.
@JohnHealey_MP The ID scheme was never truly funded in the forst place. And this headline grabber will save the average household £40 a year as per BBC Radio 4. Wow, £3.33 a month saved. Don't live off that
Strong echoes of mid-20th-century authoritarian leader posters — solid red field, dramatic close-up portrait with a serious/heroic expression, text proclaiming leadership. Classic Soviet propaganda (especially Stalin-era) used the exact same formula for maximum visual impact.
