The sheriff has no gender, but in the sense that those details and more were completely overlooked on his creation and purpose, she's already ambiguously looking on whether she's a tubby or not in the first place

I really wanted to play with the old concept of the guardian being a "police officer" and I thought making a cowboy type sheriff character would fit in the child like vibes that the teletubbies show has.
