Hey Helen! Thanks for retweeting. I'd love to send you a copy of our book to celebrate World Book Day. Please email your address to me (which will be treated confidentially) and I will get a copy in the post to you. My email address is: [email protected]
@_LisaCherry Yup - and we sure do need different conversations. Though I would say the conversation with men who are unafraid express their Divine Feminine is equally evolutionary...
Thank you to all who contributed to the excellent conversations in tonight's #devonbookhour with @BookDevon and @beyondHstories
It's so good to know that despite the uncertainty of the last year, people are feeling hopeful, optimistic and ready for whatever the future holds.
@NellDixon@BookDevon Yes – I think this is a strong archetype: the pioneering soul who shoots forth like an arrow into the unknown. I've certainly met one or two of these individuals in my time, and whilst often likeable, they're always single-minded in their focus! #devonbookhour
@BookDevon Sorry Ian - I kept forgetting the hashtag! But I got there in the end! Have had some great conversations tonight and really enjoyed the debate! #devonbookhour
@BookDevon ‘The root of suffering is resisting the certainty that no matter what the circumstances, uncertainty is all we truly have.’ Pema Chodron, Comfortable with Uncertainty #devonbookhour
@AliHaggett@BookDevon Although there are brave pioneers in many traditions who have kept the naturopathic candle burning. In my life I have needed the allopathic and the homeopathic. As you say, we need both in a balanced and harmonious relationship. #devonbookhour
@BookDevon The Great Turning - many prophets and visionaries have prophesied that through crises and collapse 'The New Earth' will be born, where humans live in harmony with each other and the natural world. Perhaps that's what happening now...? We can but hope! #devonbookhour
@BookDevon Yes, agree it's critical and I have heard so many heartwarming stories of people helping each other out during Lockdown. It just shows how wrong Maggie was – there IS such thing as society!! #devonbookhour
@BookDevon I think so @AliHaggett. People are questioning why they have to go back to the rat race of commuting when they have proved they can work from home; and, I think there's a realisation that the speed, stress and anxiety of modern life is not a healthy way to live. #devonbookhour
@BookDevon Yeah - I really think @LaurenceAnholt is on to something here. I've often thought that the detective shows on TV could do with a more mindful approach! Especially with our attitude to death, but that's a whole other story! #devonbookhour
@BookDevon Well, as we mention in The Soulistic Journey, Pema Chodron is one of our favourites. I love this quote of hers: ‘If you are invested in security and certainty, you’re on the wrong planet.’ !! #devonbookhour
@NellDixon@BookDevon Interesting, Helena. Information can be a subjective thing: one person's information is another's fake news, as we have recently found. Whereas choice is a personal decision on what is authentic and meaningful. So maybe choice is power? #devonbookhour
