I was listening to @dailystoic podcast and heard the take that we read and study history already knowing the ending. When learning about the people at the time, we should acknowledge they didn’t know the ending. Reframes a lot things.
The self titled album Suicide, by Suicide released in 1977 is not good. I can understand that it was influential, but lyrically, it’s SO weak. Idk why it got number 498 by @RollingStone
Ask Rufus - a 1977 album by Rufus and Chaka Khan: insane vocals from Chaka Khan, but I’m just not into soul music. It lacks the pop sensibility to make it really catchy and stick in your head.
One of my favorite things. Taking something loved by millions and trying to pin point why. Check why folks love Mando!
