#BlackLivesMatter is not a controversial statement. And yet @Starbucks -- a company that should be an ally of #BLM just as it is an advocate of LGBTQ+ -- #Starbucks has made it controversial. It has decided that the phrase Black Lives Matter is potentially unsafe or unwelcoming.
