MAROON 5EVER โพ๏ธ
What now feels like a fleeting collegiate run comes to a close for UPโs Maroon 5. The group of Harold Alarcon, Gerry Abadiano, Terrence Fortea, Reyland Torres, and Janjan Felicilda, often dubbed as former NU Bullpups and NU Bulldogs and known this season as Maroon 5, ended their collegiate journey short of the ultimate goal, but not without leaving their mark as Fighting Maroons.
Despite being counted out in rivalries and considered nouveau championship contenders, in their era as Fighting Maroons, they proved that State U belonged on top with five straight Finals appearances during their time.
Harold, Gerry, and Terrence finish their careers as two time champions and three time first runner ups. Reyland and Janjan recorded one championship and two first runner up finishes. Over the past years, they collected accolades in preseason and international tournaments, built through years of preparation, discipline, and consistency that went beyond the final results.
Maaaring paulit ulit nang nasabi, pero maraming salamat, Maroon 5. Para sa laban, sa pagiging iskolar-atleta, at higit sa lahat, sa pagpili sa UP.

Kung NU or UST man ang magchampion this season, this issue will spoil their spotlight because it's in the midst of this officiating scandal.
This is on the new UAAP commish to fix. Like yesterday.
