A woman can calmly explain ten times that something makes her uncomfortable. Then, on the eleventh time, she snaps. And the man will only remember the eleventh time. For some reason, the first ten don’t make it into the male version of the story.
Coming from someone who had a reckless mouth, I started asking myself, When people leave a conversation with me, do they feel watered or wounded? My tongue can encourage, pray, comfort and restore, or it can tear somebody apart. I want my mouth to become a place where life flows.
I’m not a big fan of people not knowing how to let me go. It doesn’t do anything for my ego and I don’t find it flattering. It’s actually annoying as fuck.. especially when I know the intentions behind reaching out aren’t good
I don’t judge nobody because I know what it’s like to THUG IT OUT IN SILENCE. To wake up drained and still handle your responsibilities. To feel alone around people who swear they love you. To stop opening up because the last time you were vulnerable, somebody used your own words against you. To keep everything bottled up and still walk around like you’re GOOD. 🥴 I’ve been through things I don’t even talk about, but somehow I keep getting up and figuring that shit out. You really never know what somebody is carrying behind that smile. 💯❤️🩹
I can tolerate a genuine misunderstanding. What I cannot tolerate is you choosing to be dense because acknowledging what I actually mean would require you to answer a harder question.
btches will keep poking at you & poking at you & poking at you & when you FINALLY respond they get to playing schizophrenic games like you bothering them😂🤣
I finally understand what Machiavelli meant when he said, "Never play fair in a game where others cheat." It doesn't mean become evil. It means stop being naive. Stop bringing honesty to people who study manipulation, stop giving access to people who weaponize closeness, and stop expecting clean hands from people who already showed you they'll throw dirt.
Sometimes wisdom is not revenge.
Sometimes wisdom is learning the rules of the room before the room uses your goodness against you.
