Marlon Martinez finished amongst the top scorers at the 2026 FIBA U18 AmeriCup representing the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 — 19.0 PPG | 5.8 RPG | 3.7 APG on 60% shooting across 6 games.

Umoja Gibson has been one of the best guards in European basketball this season — 15.9 PPG and 4.9 APG in the Eurocup, 15.8 PPG and 5.2 APG in the ABA League for Cedevita Olimpija 🇸🇮, doing it consistently across two of the more competitive competitions on the continent.
Running the offense smoothly, not forcing anything. Gets downhill when he needs to, finds teammates before the defense can recover, and when teams load up to take away the pass he creates his own shot at a high level.
A DePaul product out of Waco, TX now firmly establishing himself as a legitimate top-end guard at the European level. Full season highlights are on the channel — well worth a watch.

🇮🇹 Diego Garavaglia (6-7, '07) is a name to watch in college basketball; as @Backdoorpod_eng has reported, he is expected to leave Ulm, where he struggled a bit to show his true potential. Nevertheless, he is a two-way player with outstanding defensive instincts.

Blessing Adesipe put together a strong 2025–26 season for Chadron State in the NCAA Division II RMAC 🇺🇸 — 9.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game, shooting 37.9% from three.
A 6’6”, 220-pound wing who can consistently space the floor changes how defenses have to load up on the perimeter — and Adesipe does it while also doing the dirty work on the glass at a rate you don’t typically see from a guard.
Combined with a 52.3% effective field goal percentage and 76.1% from the free throw line, he’s a genuinely efficient offensive piece with the physical tools to hold his own at the next level.
A Houston native and graduate student with experience at multiple programs — going to be interesting to see what market he lands in overseas and how far the tools can take him.
🇮🇹 🇦🇷 Octavio Maretto (W, 6-6, '04) is playing a good season in A2 in Pesaro, Italy's 2nd division averaging 9.3 PTS, 4.3 REB & 1.4 AST. He's a good shooter with nice off the ball movement & great slasher, ready for the 🇮🇹LBA or NCAA D1.

🇭🇷6'11 Forward, Michael Ruzic has been X factor for Joventud against Baskonia in ACB League:
- 18 points (80% FG)
- 9 rebounds
- 2 assists
This season in the ACB, Michael is averaging 6.3 points and 3.8 rebounds while shooting an impressive 52.2% from the floor. He is the prototype of a modern big man, blending elite size with a high basketball IQ and a smooth shooting stroke. His versatility as a stretch four allows him to punish teams from deep or use his mobility to attack in face-up situations.
Beyond the scoring, Ruzic shows incredible maturity, consistently making the right reads and using his length to impact games defensively. His combination of fluidity and natural feel for the game makes him a unique weapon in the Spanish league, and it is clear he is only scratching the surface of his massive potential.

Uroš Šikanić is having a strong season for ECE Triglav Kranj in the Slovenian Liga OTP banka 🇸🇮 — 12.7 points, 7.7 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game, shooting 43% from three as a 6’7” center.
That three-point number at his position changes how defenses have to guard him and creates space that most bigs in the league simply can’t generate. Combined with the rebounding and playmaking, he’s a genuinely versatile frontcourt piece.
The 2001-born Slovenian center is definitely one to keep an eye on as the season wraps up.
Alen Zulić went from 6.4 points per game last season to 15.8 this year for Zlatorog Laško in the Slovenian Liga OTP banka 🇸🇮 — adding 6.1 assists per game at just 21 years old.
What stands out beyond the numbers is the playmaking ability for a 6’4” shooting guard. Averaging 6 assists a night at this level suggests real court vision and decision-making, combined with the scoring load he was carrying.
A Slovenian guard still in the early stages of his career, this is a breakout season by any measure.
Vacario Triplett wrapped up his season for Elbasani in the Albanian Superliga 🇦🇱 — 23.4 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game across 22 games, including a 49-point performance that turned heads midseason.
What makes him dangerous is the combination of shot creation off the dribble and efficiency at the rim — 54.9% on twos with enough range to keep defenses honest from three. He was doing it in 37 minutes a night as the clear focal point of the offense, which tells you about his conditioning and motor.
Caleb Jones | Columbia College
32 games. 32 starts. 14.6 PPG | 3.9 RPG | 2.4 APG | 2.0 SPG | 55.1% FG
The 6’2” guard was one of the more efficient scorers at his level this season — shooting 55% from the field while averaging 2 steals per game is a combination that translates well.
Currently available and seeking professional opportunities overseas.
Tony Hauser put together a solid season for the Limerick Celtics in the Irish Super League 🇮🇪 — 13.6 points and 8.3 rebounds per game across league 13 games.
What stands out beyond the numbers is the skill level in the post. Soft touch around the basket, good footwork, ability to create his own shot in the paint as well as the occasional jumper — tools that should translate well as he moves up levels.
A 6’8” forward from Charlotte, NC now two years into his pro career. The foundation is there — going to be interesting to see what level he lands at next season and how he develops from here.

🇭🇷 6’5” guard Noa Zemljić has been one of the more interesting young players to watch in the Croatian Premijer Liga this season.
Competing for KK Cedevita Junior Zagreb in both domestic and FIBA Europe Cup play at just 20 years old, Zemljić has shown the ability to score off the dribble, shoot off the catch and hold his own defensively against senior professional competition. He’ll be taking his game to UMass Amherst next season.
