I voted no on the TikTok bill.
We need to address data privacy across all social networks, including American companies like Meta and X, through meaningful regulation that protects freedom of expression. Not just single out one platform.
Most Americans probably agree on most things. The cost of housing, healthcare, and groceries is too high, wages are too low, we need better schools and infrastructure, and retirement shouldn’t be a dream, but an attainable goal.
We must all come together and demand better.
Voted NO on the TikTok bill.
Not only are there 1st amendment concerns, this is bad policy.
We should create actual standards & regulations around privacy violations across social media companies—not target platforms we don’t like.
The House of Representatives just passed a bill that could ban TikTok.
Not raising the minimum wage.
Not lowering healthcare costs.
Not lowering housing costs.
Not lowering childcare costs.
TikTok.
A bill that could ban a social media platform moves from being introduced to passing a floor vote with bipartisan support in less than a week, we should all take notice.
