Sometimes, “productivity” shows up as having enough self-awareness to know that the best way you can use your time is to disconnect and decompress. Trying to work through exhaustion, burnout, and overwhelm is not a sustainable practice. —Michell C. Clark
Our seasons of suffering are not for nothing.
They will grow us... shape us... soften us.
They will allow us to experience God’s comfort and compassion. And we will find life-giving purpose and meaning when we allow God to take our painful experiences and comfort others.
Pride, arrogance, and self-reliance incur God’s opposition and will shut the door of His blessings. Humility, on the other hand, fosters a dependence upon Him, unleashing His power in our lives. ♡
I know how hard it is to be in a low valley you can't see your way out of. But there’s always a way with God.
Stay close to Him. Stay close to people who love Him. He will make a miraculous way, friend. One that you couldn’t have imagined. One that is perfectly timed & planned.
Father, remind the woman reading this right now that perfection is not Your expectation. You don’t ask that she has it all figured out. You simply ask that she shows up and trust that You’ll lead the way. Thank you for creating her for such a time as this. Amen
This young lady was greeting classmates at the door. When asked if that was her classroom job she said no, she just wanted to welcome everyone to start the day.
Leadership, kindness, initiative, inclusivity… this leader is doing #MORE on so many levels! 💛
Heartbreaking seasons can certainly grow us, but they were never meant to define us.
Only God gets to define us. And He says we are chosen. He says we are cherished. He says we are His children, holy and dearly loved.
It is in staying near to God and crying out to Him in life's troubles, rather than complaining to others, that you will hear the direction to the pathway you need in order to experience relief and enjoy personal peace.
He’s working it out. God, I mean. I’m starting to see specks of light here & there. Fragments that one day, I think, in His glorious presence, will come together with a thousand unseen pieces & bring life to rhyme & reason. After a cycle of years crying WHAT IS EVEN HAPPENING??!
