Top '27 NHL draft prospect Carter Meyer has requested a release from the USNTDP and informed USA Hockey that he won’t return.

Meyer is a BU commit who’s CHL rights are held by the Quebec Remparts where his brother Freddy plays. Their father is former NHL’er Freddy Meyer.

Victoriaville GM Kevin Cloutier confirmed during his end-of-season presser WED that Egor Shilov, a potential 1st-Rd pick in the 2026 Draft, will be back with the Tigres next season. Shilov, who had 82 pts (32 goals) in 63 reg season games, will then look to join BU in 2027-28.
