At The Habitat, our education team offers a range of face to face, online, and hybrid programmes, using examples from the Penang Hill Biosphere Reserve and a unique range of interactions with our project partners across Malaysia.
The call to protect biodiversity and natural ecosystems has never been more important. It is only fitting that we spent the first week of 2022 visiting our southernmost project grantee in Malaysia!
#KelabAlami is an award-winning ecotourism & education organization which has been empowering youths from these villages since 2008. Its members run tours, educational programmes for children, and promote environmental care & sustainable practices to strengthen the local economy.
