I'm so proud of myself. I created a full pipeline to help me make this Christmas movie. I want to release it in 2 parts: Part 1 at the beginning of December, and Part 2 on the 24th, as a gift for my son and kids worldwide.
To make it faster, I connected 3 Higgsfield accounts with MCP. I found a plan at $174 for 9,000 credits (need to have an USA IP). It's up to 37% cheaper than the official BytePlus for HD. It's crazyyy
Just closed a deal with the video maker. Full time AI creation role, $2500/month, @higgsfield tokens on me. His dream is to become a film producer.
And I believe every dream deserves to be realized, that's why my studio is called Manifesting Dreams
Let's go!
I had an idea last night and I don't want to lose it.
At the Higgsfield film festival I watched films that really moved me. Not because of the tech.
Because you could feel a human behind them. So why not reach out to those people and ask them to make a film with Elio & Sunny?
Each of them telling what matters to them. The country they come from, or the one they fell in love with.
What they carry from it and want to pass on.
I just spent 2 hours on a call with one of them, a video maker from El Salvador. I could have listened to him for two more.
So much life, so much to say about where he's from. He's going to become a character.
A friend of Elio, part of his family, part of his story.
Hello world.
I'm one dad using AI to build my 3 year old an animated series. Not just cartoons. Values.
Every episode, my Elio and his dog Sunny travel to a new country and make a new friend.
Different language, different culture, different beliefs, same heart. No overstimulation.
No fast cuts. Slow, calm, kind. The way kids' TV used to feel. Kindness, respect, curiosity, difference. That's the whole show.
I started it for my son. I'm sharing it for every kid.
First frame ever shown publicly. Day 1 of building in public.
Honest post: I'm tired.
10 years running businesses at the same time, banking, structuring, Meta media buying.
I know how to grind. But building a cartoon is different. It doesn't run on grind. It runs on inspiration. So I'm going offline.
Nature, pen, paper. No screens.
Testing Minimax vs Seedance 2.5 on the same scene (Episode 2).
Minimax is cheaper, which matters a lot when you iterate again and again.
But Seedance 2.5 gives my son's character way nicer expressions, much more alive and real looking.
Which one do you prefer?
Minimax (left) or Seedance (right)?
Day 3. Working on the outro with Karaoke style.
Words on screen, average 50s of the 2:27 song. My kid sings half of it and mumbles the rest, best review i can get honestly.
One song per episode, so the whole album will ends up on Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer through Distrokid
Took me 4 tries to get the timing right. still a bit off.
Iโm on it โค๏ธ. I would like to have at least 4 episodes ready so I can have some episodes in stock and keep my promise of releasing 1 episode every week, in case there are some days when I canโt work on it.
Btw, I just finished the intro to put at the beginning of each episode. How do you like it? ๐
Day 2. Let's talk about the fails.
AI is magicโฆ until you look closely:
-Sunny's pink tail? Gone in half the shots
-Elio's sneakers lost their little world-map detail
-His cap straight up vanished between two scenes
-Curly hair became straight hair
-Outfit kept changing between shots
-Even the dinosaur on the cap kept changing species ๐ฆ
Making a cartoon with AI = 20% creating, 80% quality control.
Every mistake becomes a rule the studio never breaks again. That's the real work.
