@shaneisname I’ve watched his videos. He says he is Marxist but his views differ in subtle but important ways. Largely his interest in elections. I think electoralism has done so much damage to the left. It sucks revolutionary energy back into a rigged system and legitimizes the system.

@shaneisname @SpeaksAngie To me being a leftist means being anti-capitalist, not simply left of the center. It's a very important distinction. The "left" is being assimilated into our current power structures and it's original intentional has been lost. That's why I'm not a "leftist" anymore.
