Astro News: This is less news, just stuff you should see. This is the Hubble Deep Field. Essentially every object and dot of light you see is a whole galaxy (~10k of them). This is a tiny spot in the sky, less than the size of your fingernail held out at arms length.
Weekly (maybe bi-weekly) astro news: This is MoM-z14, formed ~280 million years after the big bang, it is the oldest discovered galaxy to date. That smudge is interesting because it's too bright and has stars that are much too evolved for its age. Thanks James Webb!
