@shutupemoly@xriskology Not exactly.. I wanted an answer that gave me good reason to think what you think. If you provided it, then I would agree with you. You never did. Again, you claimed you were sure of what E’s intended gesture meant. In our discussion you never gave a good reason to be sure.
@shutupemoly@xriskology I don’t see how the horse is dead. You never gave a sufficient response to this basic question. But that is okay. You don’t have to. The horse can die of old age. Thank you, again!
@shutupemoly@xriskology Disappointing. But I appreciate your honesty! If you cant’t/don’t respond to my most recent comment, I will end it here. Thanks again, sincerely, for your engagement!
@shutupemoly@xriskology If you respond by saying you aren’t sure, then we agree. If you give good reason to be sure, then you will convince me. Is there a reasonable third option?
@shutupemoly@xriskology I am asking you what it does mean that right wing jews see it differently than you do. (assuming that they do). Ignoring your provocations about reaching out to people(you don’t know who I know and I am advocating forthe position of the people to whom you say I should reach out)
@shutupemoly@xriskology “No oneknows what Elon intended, but I am sure that intended anti-semitism”
Me: why are you sure, given that the people with the most at stake are not sure?
You: I am sure because of my particular context, but others should be equally sure relative to their context.
Me:….
@shutupemoly@xriskology If his thought process is not known, why did you begin with certainty about his intention regarding this gesture??? This has been my basic motivating question throughout.
@shutupemoly@xriskology Why do they not see the truth of Elon’s anti semitism if they are not lacking intellectually and are also more sensitive to anti-semitism than you? Either this is only anti-semitic relative to the beliefs of certain individuals (you), or certain individuals are wrong (RE jews)
@shutupemoly@xriskology Whenasked to explain, you said they could be priotizing facts differently. I asked how ordering of facts (implied by “priority”) would change the objective truth of a matter. You responded bysaying both that ordering could and could not change the truth of a matter. I am confused
@shutupemoly@xriskology I am not trying to catch you out.. I honestly do not see how what you have said coheres together. “Write off” already imputes a motive to pol who disgaree with you. I have been asking why they disagree with you, given that they are more committed to the zionist project than you.
@shutupemoly@xriskology You are missing the point. Priority of information doesn’t change the facts. Either the facts are objectively true for everyone or they aren’t. You seem to vacillate between these two positions.
