@inkywinchester Prozac and buspar and I used to be on Wellbutrin but then I got diagnosed with epilepsy and stopped it because it increases your risk of seizures
i stand by that if dean does something bad to sam it’s received by parts of the fandom as either justified or sexy and if cas does something bad to sam then people suddenly regain their sense of right and wrong
i do find it profoundly odd that someone can recognize the role misogyny plays in sam’s writing and then just. conjure scenarios that exacerbate it because they find it sexy
@aggeleineyes and it’s always the same people who claim that dean’s role was solely sam’s father figure who then go on to ignore the inherit power imbalance of that dynamic
Had To hit him & that it's good that sam was reminded of how he Should be. which then seems to go against their first point where they claim that dean doesn't hold any authority in their relationship and there's no box that sam has to fit into to keep dean non-violent (untrue)
for "pushing him towards it". so then they're arguing that dean punching sam is simultaneously okay because 1) it's not hierarchical / indicative of a power imbalance, 2) it's "normal for them", and 3) because sam should've just known to back off and not made it so that dean
the thing abt a lot of people who don't think dean is abusive is that if you keep pushing at their logic and/or go deep enough into their posts eventually you will (almost no matter what) encounter the belief that dean's physical violence is at least mostly sam's fault
