10/10 recommend learning how to shamelessly ask for all that you want bc you'll be surprised at how many people are willing to simply give it to you, and more
one thing i learned from being sad is you just have to feel it and once you’re done, you just need to go out of the room because life is so much bigger than the room you’ve been living in. trust me, it works.
Sometimes I accidentally accept the bare minimum trying to be considerate of what others are going through & that is a habit I need to let go of expeditiously
stop letting people consume you. they didn't call? go to sleep. they didn't message you? put your phone down and have a better day. they left you on read? delete the conversation. they didn't make an effort? match their energy. never let your happiness depend on anyone
i wake up, i cry over spilt milk, put all of my eggs in one basket, bite off more than i can chew, jump the gun, fly off the handle and then die on that hill
if you wanna be happy you literally cannot cannot cannot cannottttttt care what people think… like you have to practice that daily.. and stay grounded in that. long as you not hurting or hindering nobody do what you want & be unapologetic about it… daily.
The autistic experience of constantly being told "you're such a sweet, lovely, polite girl!!" but nobody wants to be your best friend. Nobody jokes with you. Nobody enthusiastically invites you. You're used as a two dimensional placeholder friend rather than loved.
unlearn shame. all forms of shame: unemployment, illness, vulnerability, longing, desire, errors, failures. you do not need to feel ashamed of what you are experiencing or living. freedom and shame cannot coexist.
