We were the first to warn that #NEET was designed to enable large-scale irregularities. That is why the DMK has opposed NEET from the very beginning, consistently pointing out the the dangers it poses.

The DMK strongly condemns the police lathi-charge on the youth of this Nation guided by Cockroach janata Party who attempted to march towards Parliament.

The youth of the Cockroach Janata Party have been staging a continuous peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi for the past month, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, holding him accountable for the irregularities in several examinations, including NEET. With the Monsoon Session of Parliament commencing today, the protesters attempted to march towards Parliament. In response, the authorities unleashed repression, with the police carrying out a brutal and indiscriminate lathi-charge.

Those who were peacefully exercising their democratic right to protest have been subjected to an abuse of state power. Voices raised against injustice and in defence of rights can never be silenced through repression.

The Union Government is attempting to suppress what has become a major youth-led movement in the national capital through the use of tear gas, internet shutdowns, and the closure of metro stations.

May the students' struggle for education and justice prevail!

May the NEET examination, which continues to claim the lives and future of students, be abolished once and for all!

The visuals from Delhi are shocking.

Instead of addressing their concerns, the government is responding with its police force. This is unacceptable in a democracy.

I strongly condemn the TN Government led by @actorvijay for arresting rap singer and my dear brother ‘Therukkural’ Arivu for speaking out against NEET.

His voice reflects the sentiments and demands of not just Tamil Nadu, but millions of people across India.

At a time when the CJP-led rallies and protests against #NEET are gaining momentum across the country, the TVK government has chosen to arrest Arivu.

This sends a troubling message to the youth of Tamil Nadu who are considering taking to the streets in solidarity with the protesting youth in Delhi to oppose NEET.

NEET is not just riddled with discrepancies; it has become a scam.

தமிழ்நாட்டில் நடைபெறுவது சட்டத்தின் ஆட்சியா, சாத்தானின் ஆட்சியா?

மைத���னத்தில் மாத்திரை அரைத்த அமைச்சர் மீதும், சொந்தக் கட்சி பெண் உறுப்பினரின் கூட்டுப் பாலியல் வன்கொடுமைக்குமே நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வக்கற்ற த.வெ.க. அரசு அரசியல் விமர்சனங்களுக்கு மட்டும் அலறித் துடித்துக் கைது செய்வது ஏன்?

ஆட்சியாளர்களின் சட்டத்துக்குப் புறம்பான உத்தரவுகளை எல்லாம் நிறைவேற்றி அவர்களின் மனதைக் குளிர்விப்பது காவல்துறையினரின் பணி அல்ல! சட்டப்படியும் மனசாட்சிப்படியும் செயல்படுங்கள். இல்லாவிட்டால், there will be consequences.

பொதுக்கூட்டத்தில் பேசினார் என்பதற்காக, மக்கள் பிரதிநிதி என்றும் பார்க்காமல், காலை 6 மணிக்கே காவல்துறையை வீட்டுக்கு அனுப்பி கைது செய்து, விசாரணை என்ற பெயரில் SP அலுவலத்தில் அடைத்து வைப்பது உட்சபட்ச அடக்குமுறை.

இதே தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்டத்தில், கூட்டுப் பாலியல் வன்கொடுமையால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட பெண்ணாலேயே குற்றஞ்சாட்டப்பட்ட த.வெ.க MLA, கைது ஏதும் செய்யப்படாமல் லாரி டயர்களை ஆய்வு செய்து கொண்டிருக்கிறார்.

இந்த சூழலில் கழக சட்டமன்ற உறுப்பினரை மட்டும் குறி வைத்து காவல்துறை கைது செய்கிறது.

எதிர்க்கட்சியினர் பொதுக்கூட்டம் நடத்தினால் அங்கே அரசிற்கு பார���ட்டுப் பத்திரம் வாசிக்க வேண்டும் என்று ஆளுங்கட்சியினர் எதிர்பார்ப்பது அவர்களின் அறியாமையையே காட்டுகிறது.

ஆளும் அரசின் சரி, தவறுகளை சுட்டிக்காட்டுகின்ற - விமர்சிக்கின்ற மாபெரும் ஜனநாயகக் கடமை எதிர்க்கட்சிக்கு இருக்கிறது.

இது புரியாமல், பேசினாலே கைது என்று தொடரும் இந்த அரசின் அராஜகத்தை மக்கள் பார்த்துக்கொண்டு இருக்கிறார்கள்.

ஆணவத்தில் இதுபோல் எத்தனை கைதுகளை செய்தாலும் கழக உடன்பிறப்புகள் ஒருபோதும் அஞ்சமாட்டோம்.

மக்கள் மன்றத்திலும் - நீதிமன்றத்திலும் இந்த ஆட்சியாளர்கள் பின்னடைவை சந்திக்கப்போவது உறுதி.
