Psychosis or a carefully chosen 18-minute window?
The more evidence that comes out in this trial, the harder it becomes to accept the defense’s story.
We are told Lindsay Clancy functioned normally all day took her daughter to the doctor, played in the snow, built a snowman, searched Google, called the pharmacy, ordered dinner, and timed how long her husband would be gone.
Then, in roughly 18 minutes, she supposedly entered such a severe psychosis that a male voice ordered her to kill all three of her children.
She didn’t lash out in a frenzy. She selected different-sized exercise bands for each child, strangled them one by one, then went upstairs, crushed medication, mixed it into a drink, cut herself, and jumped from a window.
Now the experts are speaking clearly.
Forensic psychologist Dr. Kirk Heilbrun evaluated her over a full three-day period. His testimony under oath:
• She has bipolar II and depression
• She was not in a manic episode when she killed her children
• She has never had psychosis postpartum or otherwise
• She maintained full awareness that her actions were criminal
• She planned the killings deliberately
• This was “altruistic filicide” she believed she was helping them but she was not insane
Her own therapist also testified that she never showed signs of mania, delusions, paranoia, or psychosis during treatment.
No temporary insanity. No postpartum psychosis. No loss of control.
She knew exactly what she was doing.
Mental illness is real. Lindsay was clearly struggling. But mental illness and legal insanity are not the same thing. The question the jury must answer is not whether she was suffering it’s whether she truly could not understand that killing her children was wrong.
Based on the evidence and the expert testimony so far, that claim is becoming harder and harder to believe.
@diaryofa9jagirl@danglifestyle_ "Of course, new mums know everything about how to deal with PPD. Just murder the kids.
So let's just lecture the men and husbands."
Hero worship has become a serious problem in Islam.
Lailatul Quadri & Prayer Night, yet it was all about the clerics patting one another on the back.
Close to zero consideration for the thousands who came from far and near.
Never again!
@Quantum_Grace@gbileA3f It is obvious that you don't even know the bridge or the area. You said water has 'been going under the foundation for years'.
Construction started mid 2024 and the bridge is still not complete. The while area is still a construction site.
Come on!
@Quantum_Grace@gbileA3f The drainage systems in that area are the large open channels along the trunk road that enters Ota. And they have never been clogged.
Please stop making things up because you feel you have the duty to defend government and their contractors!

Thank you for being the Son that you are.
I pray that God continue to direct your path to greatness in life.
@Quantum_Grace@gbileA3f So this monstrosity of a bridge is a result of 'human activities' and not a design problem?
This 'tumor' looks like something that was caused by the community and not the engineer?
🤣🤣🤣
I have an initiative or idea.
My major plan was to institute it in all the most popular stadiums around Nigeria.
We will station one VEO CAMERA in all the stadiums. Or we institute a videographer in all the popular stadiums.
But when I thought about it, something was missing. We needed someone to always mount it or supervise it.
But with Fatai’s case, we can make him be the one in charge of legacy stadium. Train him on how to be a videographer. From morning till evening (he can have break time), he will cover all games. Do live coverage for some games that are highly competitive.
He will create a YouTube page dedicated for this and post there.
Every player will go there and cut their highlights from there. As long as you played on legacy pitch, every day, you’ll see your video on his page.
I still need some modalities on this idea.
With a veo camera, his input might be minimal. But if we decide to train him and get him instruments, we still need money to collectively run it.
What do we all think?
I don’t have the money to run it myself. But we can collectively think and do it together.
Kindly repost and share your thoughts. 💭
@dansatty Milan, Rome, derbies are held in publicly owned facilities. I'm certain that The Lagos State government did not give Onikan to these clubs for free and there must have been agreements signed. LASG prolly reneged on these agreements. They must do better.
🚨🇳🇱 Chido Obi from Manchester United to Willem II, here we go! Deal done for the striker to join Dutch side on season long loan.
