Both Sara Lance and Ava for 4 seasons had only one story over and over - and it was the domestic story taken from some shippers fanfiction. Ava was even inserted in the only thing Sara had for herself - being a captain.

There has to be more things to validate a woman than love and motherhood. Ava never had any other story outside being Sara's love interest and they only validated her worth by Sara propping her up. How about the all the other things she could have achieved as her own person

@ShieldLegends people are talking about parenthood planning and women owning their bodies, Lot comes with stories about Sara Lance being kidnaped, killed, cloned and getting knocked up from a kiss and treat that story as romantic. and how many times they've killed her for laughs

that is the difference between them, Sara will always fight for Ava, while Ava gives up. If it wasn't for Mick, no one would have gone to pick up Sara from the alien planet and help her fight aliens. Even Ava clones have more courage than Sara's Ava.

I remember the first time I saw #SaraLance as Black Canary in #Arrow, so bad ass and with complex story. I couldn't even choose between #Canarrow and #Nyssara, I loved them both

@AvaSharpieXII Caity created Sara Lance. She is that iconic character, because of her. This is pure talent. The writing behind the character is sometimes nonexistent and still Caity lifts her up. So no, these two statements can't coexist, because they are contradicting.

To add on to my earlier tweet, using the S6 team could’ve still developed the characters meaningfully. It could’ve been used to fill in the gaps in development we didn’t get to see on the show like addressing Sara’s trauma and identity issues from dying and becoming a clone.

@INFOTEXYT Not sure, but I'll forever be sad that #LegendsOfTomorrow never did a flashback episode showing Sara's survival and origin as the Canary. With Katrina Law busy on NCIS, and so many years passed, I don't think it could even happen now.

@INFOTEXYT Really, you guys are so sensitive about your male characters. He killed like 50 times Sara over and over, and we have to watch it, and laugh at it, but you want people to feel sorry for some male villains the writers like to brink back like Thawne and Darhk

Too bad #LegendsOfTomorrow killed her and made her into alien clone. She was the most empowering woman with scars caring for women. But they didn't know what stories to tell for her.
