(4/4) As we entered the summer growing season, and with dispensaries opening weekly, it seemed only right to check in on the supply chain.

(3/4) Future surveys will continue to monitor sentiment among CANY members, who come from every corner of the industry, and will highlight timely issues.
(2/4) This is our first of what will be quarterly surveys of our members as we work to understand their concerns and continuously find ways to support them.
(2/3) Based on the current pace of licensing to date, we are suggesting that any new expansion should be based on data driven research and at a minimum, should have input from our members, industry operators and stakeholders.
(1/3) The state has promised to issue 1500 licenses this year. We, the CANY Board of Directors, believe those licenses should be issued as quickly as possible. Internal discussion in the industry is circulating about the expansion of the licensing pool beyond that number.

The Office of Cannabis Management hastily canceled today’s board meeting that would have approved 3 new retail licenses, saying they wanted time to approve more. But an email obtained by @THECITYNY suggests the meeting was canceled at request of Gov Hochul https://t.co/4CNlucZOdG

I’m still pushing for a Recompense Fund for our struggling farmers. In the meantime, we should license everyone ready to open legal cannabis dispensaries. https://t.co/V1KXNs35F2
It's always great to see the Cannabis Control Board come together to have a robust conversation about the state of the adult use rollout, as they did today in their meeting which lasted almost a minute and 45 seconds.... @nys_cannabis@LizKrueger@CPeoplesStokes@GovKathyHochul
