I did once get paid to review a Jackie Mason gig for a local paper but I’m more chuffed to have my (freely given) review of @BlodwensInTown featured on her latest promo materials. Go see her, she’s hilarious and talented.
@MartinSLewis Well said. Financial vulnerability is a state not a trait. Problematically, even when people’s circumstances improve, the credit reference system continues to penalise people for historic circumstances. Open banking is a great way to help with debt consolidation/borrowing needs.
And introducing a new award from this category, the 'Best Social Purpose Campaign' goes to @FairforYouCIC and their agency @thinkcomms for the First Iceland Food Club.🌍🏆#ccawards
@thinkcomms continues to make the case for not for profit community lenders as an ethical alternative to loan sharks and commercial high cost providers. Coverage across the day on BBC1 in London as provision expands in the capital @resp_finance@CityBridgeFndn@Fair4AllFinance
Research by Fair4All Finance shows almost two in five Londoners are in "financially vulnerable circumstances", meaning they may find it harder to access credit from mainstream lenders.

I know I should be tired at this hour but I’m buzzing from spending the day with incredible participants of @faithinlship Senior Faith Leaders Programme. And being hosted at Windsor Castle is the icing on the cake. Huge scope within this growing network of purpose-led leaders.

Currently listening to patients speak @BritSocHaem ASM as part of a session for medics on attentive listening. Have been listening myself to doctors and nurses on haematology workforce issues over two days. Always enjoy hearing stories from behind a camera.
Thanks to @ionayoungmoney for raising awareness of community finance providers on @BBCMorningLive and for highlighting @FairforYouCIC’s Food Club with @IcelandFoods. Super clear explanations.
Did you see @ionayoungmoney on @BBCMorningLive yesterday? She was discussing low cost loans, #CreditUnions, #CDFIs and how they're a safe and responsible alternative to illegal moneylenders 👇
“With over 1.4 million people using Credit Unions in the UK, they’re helping people navigate the difficult times, and helping them plan for the future too.” Great insight below about the purpose and value the movement provides for its members from @EnterpriseCU CEO, @ecu_karen
Did you catch @ionayoungmoney's first column of the year in Metro? She looks at the issues facing young people who may struggle to access mainstream credit and the challenges that brings, and how the ethical community finance sector could be a big help.

A new report from @Fair4AllFinance highlights the positive impact of the support banks provided to customers during the pandemic and calls for some of these measures to be re-introduced or modified to help people navigate the #CostOfLivingCrisis and beyond.
