The plane was bound for Rome, Italy, and had taken off from Scotland when a 7700 squawk alert was issued, signalling an onboard emergency.

Someone I was once very close to died recently and I didn't find out until 3 weeks after he died. I didn't have the chance to say goodbye and that kills me.
I can't stand the fact that I'll never see him again. Or fact that I'll never hear his laugh again......
