The problem with bitcoin.

I bull post often but I want you to be aware of the problems with decentralization

people have found a way around bitcoins rules to post pictures and memecoins on the blockchain

there are currently 300,000 pending transactions, fees are spiking to $12 and nodes are getting bloated

if someone found a way to upload pictures on PayPals financial system and it increased user fees and slowed their system they would update the code immediately to stop it

with a decentralized system like bitcoin, the entire network has to agree to change the code

Satoshi said data unrelated to bitcoin should not be stored on the blockchain because it make it inefficient. He said other chains should be used for this

seems pretty obvious, so why don’t people agree and update the code?

because people are motivated by personal greed. Miners enjoy the higher fees, salesmen sell alt coins under the name of bitcoin, and people gamble on them hoping to get rich

so what is the solution? I have no idea

I just want you to know that decentralization is not a perfect concept

in fact bitcoin was made as a product of complete centralization under Satoshi

he did not ask everyone’s opinion

similarly, El Salvador’s president saved the country by calling all the shots

so is a centralized bitcoin the solution? Absolutely not, the person in charge would most likely make more coins for themselves

just want you to know that centralization sometimes has its benefits over decentralization and vice versa
