I’ve been waiting to write how happy I am that INXS is amongst the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s 2026 nominees. We all can agree it’s really time for induction to happen for INXS.

Michael’s music always meant so much to him. He was very proud of INXS. He firmly believed that Andrew- multi instrumentalist and composer, Kirk-saxophone/guitarist, Jon- drummist, Tim- lead guitarist, and Garry bass guitarist were the tightest most accomplished musicians around; and according to many others in the music industry, the band with Michael as their ‘charismatic’ singer and lyricist was hard to beat.

Together with Michaels’ lyrics and Andrews’ compositions they were up there with the best of them. Michael once said, “There is an integrity to INXS, in the music, that makes it worthwhile.”

He was talking about the commitment he had to the band and the commitment each member had to their audience. He was saying that even though the band rarely took time off from touring, and recording and touring again; they truly believed in what they had created with INXS.

I know Michael would very much want to be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame because their music was that important to him. INXS music continues to influence other artists to this day and that in itself says that they deserve to be there.

Now we are at step two. The goal is inducting INXS. I’m asking all fans to go over to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s 2026 nominees fan vote board and vote EVERYDAY.

You may not agree on how or when INXS gets inducted but it’s important that they GET INDUCTED INTO THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME because it will seal their legacy for generations to come.

I know MICHAEL would want this and I know he would want this for INXS – He should still be here with us - I wish he was still here with us; so for him and INXS PLEASE VOTE.
