Hard to find the right words when a towering figure in our nation's story, a person who shaped history and inspired millions, has left us.

Begum Khaleda Zia — a life lived with immense courage in the face of both triumph and struggle.

She wasn't just a leader on a poster; for so many, she was a symbol of hope, a source of unwavering political faith, and a matriarchal figure in the landscape of our country.

Most heartfelt condolences to her family, and her dearest loved ones. I cannot imagine the weight of their personal grief amidst this national mourning. To all her supporters and colleagues who stood by her side through the years — please know that we all share in your profound sense of loss.

May the memories of her strength offer some comfort. May she find a peaceful rest, May Allah SWT bless her with the choicest place in Jannah.
