my first coding job was with a small company, replacing their only developer who had recently quit. the code base was massive, in a language I had never used before. there was only one comment, at the end of an 1100 line function, and it said:
//that'll do pig. that'll do.
So I made it to the final round. They liked my passion for the dev community & exp. w/ technical writing & teaching. I didnt pass due to lack of experience but if any companies are hiring developer advocates and dont mind someone with 1+ years of professional experience, hmu lol!
