This is one of the saddest videos I've seen on the Internet today.
Forest primary, Kiminini Constituency, Trans-Nzoia county teachers beating up a parent who went to school to complain about illegal school levies on lunch. Sad!
All roads lead to **Makueni County** this September.

CSOs Assessment Workshops | Kiambu & Makueni
On 22–23 July 2026, Transparency International Kenya, through the TUNU Project, brought together Civil Society Organizations from Kiambu and Makueni for CSOs Assessment Workshops on its digital accountability tools.
Participants assessed the usability, functionality, and user experience of the Uwajibikaji Pamoja Platform and the Action for Transparency (A4T) App, providing valuable recommendations to strengthen digital civic engagement and improve access to accountability tools.
By working closely with CSOs, we continue to co-create innovative digital solutions that empower citizens, enhance transparency, and support the fight against corruption.

I Have listened to Dr Fred Matiangi's interview on Kameme FM for two hours. Same questions asked during Citizen Interview. I am sure even on CNN or BBC it will be the same questions. And the two or three issues that his critics always raise against him are always answered beyond expectation.
See, the problem is that Matiangi was a performer and that is the record that his critics struggle with. Even here in comments, 99% of his critics will only have two issues to post against him, all of which he has already exhausted in answering.
The only thing now left is for him to be decisive and say he wants to be President, not use words like, 'I want an opportunity to contribute to building my country". We are looking for a President not a contributor. It's time to get the clear, straight forward language. And it's time to ask for the seat from Kenyans directly, not to appear like he is asking for it from other politicians.
