Ladakh is not an adventure playground to be abused. I strongly condemn tourists who drive vehicles into rivers and streams, damage our fragile ecosystem, and show no civic sense. Especially in my homeland, Ladakh, such irresponsible behaviour is unacceptable.

Delhi: BJP leader Tashi Gyalson says, "Seven new districts have been created, and each district has its own distinct cultural identity and traditions. In places like Changthang, people follow a completely nomadic lifestyle and live in border areas. Zanskar, Nubra, Sham, and Drass also have their own unique cultural identities. To preserve these distinct traditions and cultures, the government has decided to establish district councils. This will strengthen people at the grassroots level and help them protect their unique identities..."
