@_nicolaporter@FromPhDtoLife Read your post! Thanks for sharing the article. I agree! PhDs need an easy way to try out or experiment with their career curiosities. PhDs nationwide have contributed to this online library. https://t.co/ZhaSaUGBLZ
@classicleeranb as a fellow grad student (some moons ago)…on low days, I’d pick one thing to complete that day. I often found more things to do while in lab. And good music helps. And treating yourself after.
You can do it, Leeran! I’m cheering for ya. So many others are too!!!
#WelcomeThemHere My sweet child giving all her birthday money to .@iistl
“I want to donate some money bc my grandparents were refugees too and the comunity helped them.”

Vote Yes on Prop R for STL Community Colleges. There’s still time at the polls!
I’m a research scientist at STLCC and our interns really do benefit from paid internships. It can be life changing. And my office could benefit from those infrastructure resources.
Today, we honor the legacy of George Floyd. We pray for continued healing for his loved ones, as we work to dismantle systems built on injustice and inhumanity.
@bookmobility Thanks for sharing the list and the service. I donated! And would like to give my spot for someone to work with the amazing you. I’ll dm the receipt.
Proud to share a song we've been working on for #AAPIHeritageMonth. 2021 has run the gamut of grief and joy for this community, and throughout it all "we're still here, we're going strong and we're getting tired of proving we belong." ✊✊🏻✊🏾✊🏿✊🏼 https://t.co/YlBL7CA8u6

Happy #EarthDay!
Celebrate by becoming a citizen co-sponsor of my bill to federally fund Green New Deals for every city, town, tribe, and territory — because environmental justice needs to be rooted in our communities.

@lakhassane@FromPhDtoLife Hmm...one could be both! A freelance consultant may mean one works for an employer short term. My colleague described this as - freelance contractors are hired to perform a task/job; freelance consultants are hired to bring expertise & advise on direction/design/etc. Thoughts?
@FromPhDtoLife Thx for starting this thread, Jennifer!
I’m all the above. :)
Freelance delivering trainings. Consulting on inclusive curriculum design. Speaking gigs about cultural awareness in interviews, inclusive online presentations, and business strategy basics. It’s been fun!
