Everyone depends on the USPS. Seniors for their Social Security, veterans for their prescriptions, small businesses trying to keep their doors open. They can't be collateral damage for an administration more concerned with suppressing the vote than suppressing a virus.
The year was 1964. The Civil Rights Act passed in July of that Year. The Voting Rights Act in 1965. Congressman @repjohnlewis was instrumental in seeing both come to pass. As long as there is truth to speak to power, his life and legacy will forever be remembered and celebrated.

It is with a heavy heart that the Metropolitan Police Department announces the passing of Senior Police Officer Keith Williams. Officer Williams had over 31 years of service with MPD and will be greatly missed.
It appears his passing was due to COVID-19 related complications.
On Memorial Day, we honor those who gave all for us. That takes different forms this year, but it’s even more vital with the loss of so many veterans to COVID-19.
