Mr Beast says he could start a faceless channel tomorrow and hit 20 million subscribers in six months
“I could start a new channel tomorrow not using my face or my voice without ever promoting it and in six months have 20 million subscribers”
“It’s purely knowledge if you knew what I knew you could get 10 million views a video and 10 million subscribers no matter where you are right now within 6 months”
“It really is just knowledge”
Prevaile reveals what he wished he'd known when he started trading
Krutzky: "What do you wish that you knew when you started trading?"
Prevaile: "To accumulate as much cash as possible, and do not get caught off sides, as in, do not get caught bag holding in a bad market, or holding something that is in a downtrend that is going to continue to go down, like I mentioned previously, back in May I got hit pretty hard doing that"
Prevaile reveals the signs he looks for when deciding which traders to counter trade
"Their behavior in a bull or a good market, and their behavior in a bad market, right now I think everybody's behavior is relatively the same, everything sucks, everything has a low ceiling, so a lot of people are selling earlier, selling a lot of Bitcoin at once, to mitigate risk"
“Let's say $AI just launched, okay, and there's a KOL that's trying to push a slightly different picture of the same coin, with a different picture and a slightly different ticker, you're going on the list, see ya, so that's a good gauge"
Prevaile explains how he decides which traders to stop following on fomo
"I'll give you a recent example, there was a token called Agency, and this guy hit it very well, he sized it, had a great thesis, wrote it up, but he never sold, rode it all the way down"
"And he was hitting a lot of theses on the way down as to why it should go back up, but then afterwards there was an influx of really low tier betas that he was forcing into, and he had some motion from the Agency trade as well, so he was pumping these things"
"I was like aghh, and it's more so not putting them down, as in, hey, you fucked this up bad, it's more so, I don't wanna watch your tilt unravel, and I don't want that to rub off onto me and give me the wrong idea"
Prevaile explains why knowing who to counter trade is one of the best skills a trader can have
"You gotta be in the know, as far as trenching goes, you have to have a basket of names of the people that cause coins to move, and you have to understand that some of them are more malicious than others, as in, it's probably not gonna be the best trade to take"
"You need to make note of that, you need to be aware of who's who, I don't wanna name any names, but they're out there, they exist"
"And counter trading them, counter trading them, as in not buying what they're buying, is still a trade, if somebody's in something and I don't like the fact that they're in something, they hold a certain amount of something, that's counter trading itself, even though you're not actually placing a trade"
"It's not exactly like, oh, this person sold, I'm gonna buy, but sometimes it's not even taking a trade"
Prevaile explains why he doesn't use AI to make trading decisions
Krutzky: "How often you're using LLMs to make trading decisions, and what types of questions are you asking them?"
Prevaile: "I don't ever, I'm assuming the majority of investors are, so it's kind of like, what are these guys thinking, what are these guys being fed, what are these guys being told"
"Sometimes for DD, if there's long docs on the coin or something like that, I'll paste it in, but never really too deep"
Krutzky: "Why not?"
Prevaile: "I just never found the need for it, because I feel like if anything I'm buying, that I'm actually putting sizeable risk into, it's already been DD enough by other people, and it's already established enough for me not to have to talk to an LLM about it, it's more so creating your own ideas"
Prevaile reveals he likes dumb left curve trades that capitalize on market FUD
"I just really like the left curve trades, as dumb as it sounds, to be super, super left curve"
"But, okay, Bitcoin's potentially getting hacked by quantum, and that's the FUD everybody's spreading, I'm gonna buy the quantum coin, there's not much of a thought process there, it's simple, and you just buy it"
Prevaile says people need to cut Vlad and the Robinhood team some slack because they did a pretty good job
"I think people fail to realize that Robinhood is just a massive company, and the chain, obviously it's a part of their business, but it's not the biggest part of their business"
"And also, people need to cut Vlad and the team some slack, they did a pretty damn good job"
"I mean, how many millionaires were minted on Robinhood Chain as compared to any other chain during any other run in the last year”
Prevaile reveals he started publicly journaling his trading journey on X to stay accountable
"I've done the sticky note and private journal bit, and I don't really think that it's helped me be accountable, so I think preaching it and putting it out in public has definitely helped me think on it more, be more accountable"
"Also in the off chance that somebody does accrue some value from it, that's a goal of mine as well"
Prevaile reveals he found out the paid meme coin group he joined was rinsing its members, and then front ran the caller
“The way this meme coin pay group I joined was structured, it was a malicious one, just say that, and I picked up on the game theory around it pretty quickly, okay, everybody in here is just getting burnt"
"And that's when I learned, started researching, learned how to use Solscan, and that was actually my first big win, was front running that guy's big callouts"
“And that was my revenge, because amazing, at the time I was a broke college student, and I was hitting MoonPay for 200, 300 bucks twice a week, just draining my checking account trying to get plays, and I was like, you know what, I'm gonna see what I can cook up here"
"There was five frog coins that he was deploying that we were tracking, and they had some big KOLs around it, and me and my buddy bought the right one, I think I did 300 bucks to 10K on it, which is pretty incredible, and my buddy did 300 bucks to 20K"
"I left a massive message in the Discord, like, you guys are being taken advantage of, this is pure malicious activity"
Swizzle criticizes how Robinhood handled its chain, saying the ecosystem was building itself until the team alienated it
“They launch Robinhood Chain, trading community gives them the benefit of doubt, super excited about the novelty"
"People start building, crypto native people start doing cool shit on there, and it picks up traction, these guys were doing hundreds of millions in volume on the chain daily out of the gate, it's going great"
“Then they start doing all this dumb shit, and the volume dwindles, dries up, and now there's very minimal volume, all the hype, all the shit goes away"
"You would think you'd stop for a second and say, hey, did we do something to change that, why is this going wrong"
"Even if you are not crypto native and you don't know what's happening, when you're doing one thing, and your revenue numbers are awesome and going up into the right daily, massive growth, and then you start to get feedback, and people are telling you actively, hey, stop doing this, this is bad, and volume literally grinds to a halt and goes basically to zero"
"And you sit there and you say, okay, we're gonna ignore all that, we're gonna keep doing this stuff we decided in our office, it's crazy, it's insane"
"People were really picking it, whether you agreed with it or not, or thought it was part of the future of your Robinhood business, it had momentum, and you ignored them in favor of all this garbage that you wanted to do"
"It was in a place where without you doing anything, the ecosystem was just creating itself, and now you've basically actively alienated it, in an egregious fashion"
