Strauss Zelnick has commented on Rockstar/Take-Two’s more positive recent approach to GTA modding/roleplay.

“How about it instead of trying to beat them, we join them?”

It’s pretty funny that it took them so long to figure out that it’s much more beneficial to EMBRACE the fans who spend their spare time making content for these games, instead of shutting them down without a care in the world.

I have hopes that GTA 6’s life cycle will benefit greatly from this new attitude.
