@tweeetnlo I use an app called Finch. You get a cute little bird and then set up self care tasks to do that help you care for your bird. It has some meditation and other activities you can do too. If your interested the link would let us be virtual bird friends.

@servicerotties My dad is a paraplegic and we were able to attend a show at metro this summer. I believe if you contact metro they can advise you more but they had a ramp in the back that gave access to the theatre. It worked quite well.

@tweeetnlo It’s so hard to try to fill systemic gaps especially when that’s not your primary role. I’m glad there are people as awesome as you there for these people. I know it feels like we do nothing major and that the struggle never ends. No words of wisdom just support.

@tweeetnlo @edmfolkfest Put a couple black garbage bags in your bag. You can use them if it rains. I will put one on the ground and then pull another one up like a sleeping bag and then my butt and legs stay dry. Have fun!!
