Press Release in @DEADLINE! Humbled to be tackling the mental health crisis with @straightupfilms@SirKenRobinson & @ViktorFranklFan as Exec Producer on this powerful film series - looking at systemic issues with the lens of Frankl’s work “healing through meaning.” #MentalHealth
You will never understand this conflict without understanding that on October 4, 2023, women from Kibbutz Be’eri attended a peace conference for Israeli and Palestinian women. And on October 7, Hamas reportedly used an attendee list to hunt down these women and murder them.
Shaked Haran explained this in an interview how Hamas deliberately targeted peace activists on Kibbutz Be'eri during their attack.
There is no hopeful future for Israelis and Palestinians if Hamas is in it. Their terror must end.
Yuval Raphael, who survived Hamas’s massacre on young concertgoers by hiding for terrifying hours in a bomb shelter as the people around her were shot, has been practicing for Eurovision with a booing machine to get ready for Europe’s Jew hate.
Let that sink in.
🇸🇾 500,000 killed in Syria: no campus protests.
🇾🇪 377,000 killed in Yemen: no campus protests.
🇸🇩 150,000 killed in Sudan: no campus protests.
🇺🇦 60,000 killed in Ukraine: no campus protests.
🇵🇸 41,870 killed in Palestine—figures provided by Hamas, with half identified as Hamas terrorists: campuses blocked worldwide for months.
You’re not a human rights activist if the only cause you care about is the one where you can blame the Jews.
Very concerned about what this Supreme Court is doing to our civic infrastructure. I have countless criticisms of our corrupt, wrong-headed regulatory bodies — but I sure as hell don’t want to live in a country w/ ZERO protections as regards safe food, air, water, medicine, etc.
Three Republican federal judges struck down net neutrality protections this week, citing the Supreme Court's recent ruling ending Chevron doctrine.
Here's why that ruling was a huge power grab by corporate interests.
An all-Republican panel on the U.S. Court of Appeals ruled that the FCC lacks the authority to reinstate net neutrality rules.
Watch this video we made way back in 2017 to learn more about why today's ruling is such a devastating blow to a free and open internet.
How did Germany denazify after the Holocaust, and how can the same be done in Gaza?
The Allies cantoned Nazi territory to oversee the denazification, disarmament, reconstruction, and stabilization of Germany and Austria.
They arrested and removed Nazi powers from public office and cultural and economic life — including influential supporters of Nazism.
They completely removed Nazism from German legislation and declared the party, its paramilitary organizations, and declared all Nazi offices illegal.
They banned Nazi symbols and flags from public display and changed the names of every building, memorial, and street sign associated with the Nazis.
They removed hateful ideology, racism, anti-Jewish, and fascist sentiments from German education, press, and religion.
They set up finance and economic divisions to deconstruct Nazi financial institutions, block all Nazi financial holdings, and rebuild the economy.
All of these divisions set up by the Allies effectively removed Nazis from mainstream society and secured a democratic and tolerant future for Germany.
The same principles that worked to de-Nazify Germany can be applied to Gaza.
Gaza’s civilians deserve the same opportunity to escape Hamas’ oppressive rule and Nazi-like ideology. With the support of a coalition of tolerant Arab nations and international partners, Hamas could be dismantled and Gazan society rebuilt to ensure a brighter, more stable future for generations to come.
I’m issuing a reminder once again to please say “Islamic Republic,” not Iran. This is the title they gave themselves.
I want you to understand why this is so important -
First, nobody ever refers to a terrorist regime by the country or province they occupy. People don’t say “Afghanistan,” they say “the Taliban.” They don’t say “Palestine,” they say “Hamas.” They don’t say “Lebanon,” they say Hezbollah.
It’s understood that it’s harmful to refer to the country, because you then implicate an entire nation of people by association. This has damaging long term effects.
Second, and most importantly, we are talking about Iranians, who not only actively oppose this regime, but have been paying with their blood to protest it for 45 years, being lynched, tortured, and raped on a daily basis in doing so.
Haven’t they earned the simple respect of not besmirching our name, by using “Iran” not to refer to a nation of freedom fighters, but a terrorist mafia that we don’t identify with and actively rise up against?
When Iranians are being killed en masse to rid themselves of this murderous regime, is it too much to ask to ask to just afford them the basic respect of not calling those same terrorists “Iran”?
We have a lot of work ahead of us as a people, and we do not need everything we’ve fought for—as well as all of our glorious, precocious, expansive, and majestic history—to be tarnished through this painful sullying of our name.
We are not the terrorists, and they are not us. They are the Islamic Republic, we are Iran.
Love him or hate him, it’s utterly undemocratic to silence an independent candidate with this level of popular support. We need MORE dialogue in complex times, not less. Absurd for a private corporation to be gatekeeper of our American discourse. Shame on @CNN#TheRealDebate
I donated to your opponent because I saw a video of you denying 10/7 sexual violence. Some friends saw it too and held a fundraiser for your opponent. All registered dems and Biden supporters. You activated a bunch of people with your harmful lies.
That’s it. No AIPAC, no MAGA. You’re just an ignorant asshole. And you’re going to lose. And then we’ll forget you forever. Goodbye.
@weareallone_1@elicalebon Does acknowledging Muslim imperial history undermine your point about civilian casualties? If so, your moral courage is disingenuous. That fact is very relevant at a time when people are trying to flip history on its head and make Jews out to be the racist imperialists of history
@weareallone_1@elicalebon Nonsense about languages? You seem to callously, purposefully missing her point. To ignore the violent, ahistorical rhetoric around Jews being “white colonial settlers” is to endorse it, and the attendant violence against Jews/Israel.
A letter from Ron Hassner to students at UC Berkeley.
"Dear students,
I have hatched a strange plan. I am launching a sit-in protest against antisemitism and for student safety in my office, starting today, Thursday, March 7, at 6PM. If my students feel that they cannot walk safely across campus without being bullied, then I will not cross campus either. I will be conducting all my classes via zoom from now on. I have invited my colleagues to do likewise.
I will stay in my office until we take necessary steps to prevent violence between students. I will teach, eat, and sleep in my office. My office will be open at all hours of the day and night, on weekdays and weekends, to all students who do not feel safe, or who have been subjected to antisemitic abuse, or who wish to chat. I will also leave a light on in my office window at all times, so that all students walking by on Bancroft Ave. can see that at least one faculty member is sleeping as badly at night as they are.
In contrast to recent protests, my protest is non-confrontational, non-violent, and legal. It will be easy to ignore, especially in the first few weeks before visitors and media find me and my office in a rather disheveled state. After that, it will become an increasingly embarrassing public display of the university’s inability to make difficult and important decisions.
I am pessimistic that this will sway the administration, certainly in the short term. I am willing to wait it out for as long as I can. But the main reason I am doing this is not to exert indirect pressure on campus leaders. Rather, it is to signal to you students that we, the faculty, care. I am backed in my protest by many colleagues who share my commitment to making you all feel safe and cared-for on our campus, first and foremost among them Ethan Katz.
And I mean what I write in the letter to Carol Christ and Ben Hermalin: I hope that students will see the light in my window on the 7th floor of the Social Science Building, and will come to say hello. I am launching 24-hour a day office hours, weekends included, for as long as it takes. I would love to hear your stories and share a cup of coffee or tea with you.
Best,
Professor Ron Hassner of UC Berkeley"
Wow. Like him or hate him, you gotta respect the cajones on this guy, taking on the entire military-industrial complex/American kleptocracy like this. Unbelievable. Highly recommend getting outside media filter bubbles and looking at his campaign for yourself. 👏🏼 @RobertKennedyJr
Bravo @BillAckman. It’s time to hold college administrations responsible for the epidemic of campus antisemitism by insisting on zero-tolerance policies.
“Hamas proved it has no interest in a peaceful tomorrow when its terrorists slaughtered 900 Israelis and injured thousands more in an unprovoked and horrific rampage, supposedly in the name of “liberation.” Hamas killed entire families. Slit people’s throats. Raped, butchered, and paraded young women’s bodies in the public square. And around the globe, its supporters and apologists cheered, including, sickeningly, some here in Canada.
And for what? No one has been liberated. Not one Palestinian is better off than they were Friday. They are much worse off, because Hamas has now forced Israel to defend itself, and the Gazans will pay the price for their leaders’ depravity.”

Too many people on this stupid app can’t tell the difference between innocent Palestinian people and terrorists like Hamas. Stop conflating the two. You’re not helping. I have family in Gaza. They hate Hamas. They are not torturing women and parading their dead bodies around. The people doing that are not “innocent Palestinians” They are evil and monstrous terrorists. This should not be difficult.
The DSA held a hate rally, chanting: “from the River to the Sea,” which is code for wiping Israel from the face of the earth.
Let that sink in. The DSA is calling for the destruction of the Jewish State amid the largest single-day massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. When it comes to the butchering and kidnapping of Israeli civilians and children, the DSA leadership has no shame. No decency. No humanity. Only hate.
I have been warning for years about the deep rot of antisemitism at the core of the DSA and its enablers. There’s no denying it anymore.
Premiere night! My friend just launched a major movie franchise - and he killed it! #DNDmovie is an hilarious and epic adventure, fun for the whole family. Glad I got to share it with Aiden and Kate. Congrats brother! And congrats to all involved. 👏🏼… https://t.co/v5XH9gDzSv
